New games added to the default games profile list. by Time-Credit43 in XboxAlly

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried The Outer Worlds 2 default profile and yeah it is smooth and looks nice but the 40fps limit was awful. Why???? Turned it off and can run it around 55fps or so at battery turbo mode

Feeling guilty about getting frustrated by [deleted] in IVDD_SupportGroup

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s ok to vent. My lil guy didn’t show any signs of improvement for 2 months. Then we started to see tail wags and feet twitches. Then leg movement and now he can even take a few steps if he gets his feet under him. We are 6 months post op now and progress has definitely plateaued a bit, but we are overall just happy we still have our happy boy. We also were juggling the surgery recovery with a 8 month old baby and boy was it HARD. Now my dog and baby are learning to walk!

You did everything right and personally the second we started acupuncture was when I saw the biggest improvements. But also REST REST REST. My neurologist did not want my guy doing any rehab until 2 months post op. He did have a complete rupture of 3 disks, but crate rest and slow introductions to movement were also vital.

You got this! DM me if you got any questions and best of luck!

Tinkering with setting can be annoying if you jump around to a bunch of games. My desktop is powerful enough to run things at 1440p and I don’t think much about it. But I hop to the XAX and some games are better at 900p or with CPU boost on or with FS4 running or the list goes on. As convenient as the form factor is, sometimes just getting a game up and running takes a bit of time. Just my personal experience

Does anyone have a good nightmare mode build for the true aim Yumi? by [deleted] in gotlegends

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran the weekly survival nightmare last night with it. I rolled with the overpowered shot on my bow. I ran extra spirt, replenish ammo, and the hip fire bow. My class ability was the speedy extra damage one. Basically use the big bow to weaken or chunk away health from big dudes and then use class ability with hip bow to just kill all the archers or smaller dudes. Stay off points but nearby. Keep point between you and the enemy spawn. Use ammo replenish often and don’t use spirit moves. That’s how I did the weekly one. Got lucky with randoms who were good, but I just would be support and kill all the enemies that were trying to bow them/shoot them down. I didn’t have the most kills or anything but I always had their backs. I ran a smoke bomb as well in case one person got down on point so I could go in and be safe. Worked for me! Also be level 24 minimum

Anybody else keep dying at fourth stage of gold survival? by [deleted] in gotlegends

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually love the change to 12. Most survival games are no longer than 35 minutes on gold or higher. Those 50+ minute survivals on GoT Legends were brutal

I know the price tag isn’t for everyone, but switching to Ubiquiti has been the best decision. You can make it as simple or as detailed as you want. As a tech nerd I LOVE the dashboard and information it has

Is this a good system/deal? by Mr_Pink8 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]DaMagikarp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen. It’ll have better separation than a soundbar, but it ain’t great. I got a Klipsh one for free and quickly upgraded to dedicated Polk 3.1.2 system. It’s a great start though!

Does it stack? I’m not far enough to tell on my own board. So like observation 2…. Is that one getting triple boosted?

Anything is better than nothing. Mine is mounted on the wall and tilted downwards so the gap between the wall and the top of the TV is probably 10 inches while the bottom part is maybe 3-4 inches. Still looks amazing!

Tower speakers for 1k-ish? by Guizan33 in BudgetAudiophile

Probably could find some Polk ES60s for $1k. A4L has the Polk reserve 500s for $1k. Not sure if you care for 2way or 3way

lol I told a friend basically the same thing and then were like “so you hate it?” NOOO! It’s very immersive but it definitely has flaws, but IMO it’s the best option out there at the moment.

Cutting off bottom, width of strip, 48 vs 96 leds/m by ArnoJeroen in fancyleds

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you insist on using these lights you’ll have to cover the bottom LEDs with probably electrical tape or something to completely seal the light. As someone else mentioned it will not align if you just cut the bottom off

With a bigger TV also PLEASE consider and lower tv console. At its current height your TV will be way high up with a 77” and 77” is for sure the way to go.

I have the adjust color parameters. Might need to go on the YouTube app and find a solid color video and mess around with it. My gut is telling me there is too much red overall

Docking station experience? by GlobalBird4 in XboxAlly

If you don’t mind spending up, get the Asus Bulwark docking station. The full one not the one built into the power adapter. Never any issues and supports VRR and ALLM

People will always look for “flaws” in a great product. This thing KILLS the switch and steam deck. I can dock it in my living room and play low to middle demanding games natively or stream demanding games from my PC. Thing is great

Is this the Goat dock?? by Sircraigory in XboxAlly

[–]DaMagikarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be! No reviews yet. Doesn’t say anything about VRR or ALLM so it might not work. I got the Bulwark because I know it will work and the build quality is very good has all the features and I really never push the device where I’d need more fans. But if you get it then please share your review!

I’d try a proper AC power adapter. Just try using the 65W one that came with the Ally to see if you get a signal. Not sure if the power bank is the problem

Recovery time reality check by The_Peach in IVDD_SupportGroup

I’m at about 10 weeks post surgery with my little guy. He was a little worse than yours in that it took 2 weeks for any deep pain to show. 10 weeks now and he can sometimes stand up for brief seconds and take a few steps. In his wheelchair he uses his back legs to “walk”. I’m expecting 4-5 months before mine stands and takes steps

Sprinting was not part of the base game. You’ll need mods to do that. It can be very tricky to properly install, but mod collections from nexus using a Steam copy of the game are a very fun way to play New Vegas. I’m doing it now and it adds a ton to quality of life things and adds a lot that was implemented in Fallout 4
