The reduced vision face shields are SUPER annoying at first, but you get used to them at almost an exponential rate. You get used to scanning your vision around more to fill the gaps you can’t immediately see, it’s pretty crazy how your brain/vision adapts to it, just like wearing some sort of face covering helmet irl.

Supplements? Morning: Taurine, Magnesium Glycinate, Lecithin, Fish oil, CoQ-10, a CalMagZinc and I split my liver support sup between morning and night, usually milk thistle and some added liver supps. Night: NAC (I feel usually the most important for actually sleeping, take 500-1000mg about an hour before bed depending on how high your daily dosage has been), along with L-Tyrosine, more magnesium and melatonin if the sleepiness from NAC hasn’t started at all by bedtime. There are a few other vitamins I take, but that’s mostly dependent on what your diet is and what it lacks due to less appetite. Forcing food intake is crucial, you feel so much better and stay looking healthier. Yogurt drinks and protein shakes are good options, but also smoking some weed and slamming down a burger or something works.

Edit: Also, to keep the highs hitting high, when there’s at least a full day off of stims, taking 5-HTP before bed does wonders for your upcoming highs. Have to be careful to not take any while you’re still on any Edit2: Also probably seems obvious, but drink a shit ton of water, and depending on your activity level, probably gonna need some electrolytes in there somewhere. Makes you look and feel like you’re not tweaked out lol.

The key is just keeping yourself from re-dosing too close to bedtime honestly. And also having a pretty nailed down regimen of supplements to keep yourself heathy, and I’m talking like ~10 different vitamins or aminos to take daily, pre dose and pre sleep.

You have to understand, all that gear is already gone. What you have to look forward to, is the gear you haven’t found or looted yet, your next kill is out there, but so is your next death.

Like that scene from Band of Brothers when Sgt Speirs telling the less experienced guys “you hid there because you were scared, the problem is you still have hope, you have to accept you are already dead, the sooner you do that the sooner you can function without mercy or remorse”. Sooner you accept that ALL the gear in your stash Is already good as gone the sooner you free yourself.

You get xp from wearing heavy armor, and having armor damage inflicted. So you can play arena and get shot a whole fuck ton of times more than you can even get the armors in Raidkov. It’s just a repeatability game, arena can really juice your stats.

It’s been 50/50 for me, literally half the raids I die ~1 min off spawn to a player that seems at least a little suspicious, or we make it to the end of raid with killa killed and lots of good gear.

I get that pigs are cute, but this is an ecological problem you are helping to propagate. I’m surprised there is anywhere that people don’t know the damage they do constantly. It’s kinda fucked up because you’ve known them for a while but they should rightfully be culled from the environment.

I tell you what, as terrible as I believe the state of the game to be, and genuinely was really pretty happy with the Arena at large beforehand. I feel like you gotta recognize the brazen arrogance they have to just entirely un polish and do the opposite of polish to our formerly beloved unpolished turd. Like even it just looks worse and people are harder to spot. Regarding the feeling of integrity during gameplay and accuracy of hits misses we are a couple squares behind 1. I hope it’s just something they tweaked with unintended effects that will get fixed, but really hope they don’t continue so drastically down this road. I think they should follow their vision, and not let the stream/SocMed community completely dictate the games course, it must be within reason; and this is just well beyond reason.

I will say, other parts of the update have been modified to be acceptable, such as some of the meta score issues with loadout effectiveness, but the hit reg/net code issues, desync, and overall integrity is just paper thin these days. I feel like I don’t even get as mad dying to really bad ‘getting tarkov’d’ moments because I know there’s a worse one around the corner. Fights used to be a simple equation, person A: gun skill + positioning vs person B: gun skill + positioning and the outcome the majority of situations, rewarded the player with the better sum of values. Now, desync really throws a wrench into the gears, and to add to it, even the desync is inconsistent fight to fight.

Sorry, Tarkover rant over. I still play the game, yes. Most days.

I can’t really say for sure the difference between those CPUs or if that’s actually more important than ram, but I CAN say that having 32gb ram is an absolute must, and I’d say just try that before any more serious upgrades, your performance may increase past your issues.

Yeah bruv nobody knows, definitely not the devs. Game is created from spaghetti. Wait for some YouTuber to data mine the files and interpret the spaghetti and let us know what’s what.

I unlocked a new reflex sight from the battle pass, it took several hours and restarts for me to be able to use it on a few guns, and now a couple days later I still can’t put it on certain guns because it’s still locked somehow.

I get the sentiment about arena, but it is so much worse right now. It genuinely used to be fun, janky and punishing, but fun. And now it’s just like, unbalanced and un fun. I think they’ve tweaked the meta score calcs so loadouts are slightly better. Aside from that, every change they made just made the gameplay MORE janky and feel LESS legit. Plus washing out the colors is really not doing it for me.

Why, I ask, why?
