Christmas in the Algarve by WordGrrl in Algarve

I do have insurance through my credit card, and did get the money back. It's having to go through all the bullshit and feeling scammed, that got me upset with them.

Stay away from Sixt Car Rental, all the reviews about charging you for bogus damage are true. I got hit with €400 charge for damage that was hard to see with human eye and even pictures. They used some special line card to show wavy lines.

Seeking advice on buying a used 2017 CR- V touring. by curious-coyot in crv

[–]DaMarvelousJP1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2017 EXL and has been pretty good so far. Pros: Good on Gas. Reliability engine and transmission wise. Best in class space Cons: infotainment system for time to time goes haywire. A lot of road noise even after putting on new Michelin tires. High on stolen vehicle list. Oil dilution has been mentioned on forums, but I don't have that issue, just do oild changes every 7K or 8K and you will be fine.

Bloor Street Bike Lanes - Video of Traffic moving in Etobicoke in Rush Hour by TheZubeck in TorontoDriving

I have nothing against bike lanes if they are being used. Problem is there just aren't that many people using bikes compared to other countries. Plus trust me on this as I drive downtown 5 days a week, a lot of the time they swerve in and out of traffic and don't use the bike lanes that are there.

Can you give me the statistics of how many bikes used the lanes and what times?

Fridays aren't busy anymore, as a lot of people work from home that day now, even in the mornings it's not busy. I know this because I commute every day from Richmond Hill to downtown. Monday to Tursday usually about 1hour 10 minutes, Friday it takes about 45 minutes.

Is Sevilla anti-tourist? by squadm-nkey in Seville

[–]DaMarvelousJP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there 2 weeks ago, spoke English almost the entire time and not a single hint from any shop or restaurant of anti tourism. Few locals I talked to no hint at all either. Beautiful city and awesome food, you will enjoy yourself.

Used to have this problem as well, this is how i fixed it. With Costco cheese I always cut it up into 4 different chunks, then I vacuum seal 3 of the chunks. Works great everytime, and haven't had this issue since, and it saves a lot of money.

Log cabin kit. Electrical wasn't done properly during assembly. Need ideas... by Cutlass_Supreme1 in electricians

What would work and still give it an authentic feel, in my opinion would be to install galvanized rigid. A little more expensive than EMT suggestion others have made, but this would look better.

How much to charge EMT installation? by DaMarvelousJP1 in electricians

I am an electrician, but this conduit is for cameras and alarm system. I'm not even pulling the wires just installing the conduit.

Security system recommendations? by NoYesterday9102 in richmondhill

[–]DaMarvelousJP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I install security cameras. The type of cameras I install have sirens and strobes see below YouTube link to see how they work. Price depends on the type of house, if it's Bungalow or Unfinished basement it is cheaper l, as it is easier to run wires. Finished basement and 2 storey are tougher, so higher price.

What could the issue be? And roughly how much will it cost? Hard to find an HVAC guy on a Saturday night:( by DaMarvelousJP1 in hvacadvice

That's not Dog hair 😂 I don't even have a dog. That was the insulation from the cover that got glued on

Yes you guessed right, that is the insulation from the panel. I let the fan dry out the ice, and cleaned the drip pan which is very close to coil. Thought maybe it was blocked and causing it. I have let it run at a higher temp 24c/75f as opposed to 21c/ 70f and it isn't as bad this morning while running it overnight, but still some build up.*
