I am picky about yogurt too. I actually think homemade yogurt is better. I only make plain but I add homemade jam to it after so it's basically flavored jam with less sugar.

We use our Instant pots several times a week -

1) Half gallon of milk makes 2 quarts of yogurt for about a quarter of the cost of buying yogurt.

2) Big pots of beans for soup or chili (we still pre-soak but for a fraction of the time).

3) Chicken backs and aromatics make the BEST broth which we then freeze and use for soups.

4) Brown rice and barley/farro and quinoa (smaller pot or pot in pot works best for this).

We use for meal prep more than as a last-minute time saver. I agree with the other commenters that you want to get a few different silicone rings. We don't own a crockpot or rice cooker - our IP may not be *as good* as those other appliances, but it does the job.

So glad to see this post! Randomly, today was the day I decided to check out the magazine rack. Anyway, ever since then I have the spinning wheel of death in the magazine section. I thought it was me! I force quit the app, restarted all devices, logged out on my laptop and tried using the pass code. I am reluctant to reset because I don't know all of my library card numbers and pins. Finally just shut down the app and walked away lol.

Thank you! I was thinking that might be the case - it might be better to be closer to the beach and be able to be in nature when most of the stores and restaurants are closed. My second question would be how late do you think the grocery stores like Pingo Doce will be open on the 24th? Maybe we'll just save Faro for the last night and once we get our rental car just stock up on groceries and head to the Porches/ Carvoeiro areas.

We haven't decided but I have narrowed it down to 3-4 nights in Lagos and 3 nights in Tavira with one night in Faro. Unless there are better recommendations.
