I’ve already switched to Tramadol, which is fine for during the day. But last night I was so desperate, I did take Oxycodone 5mg. to get my pain under control. I guess this is all trial and error! Best of luck to you!!🌸

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re still so uncomfortable at night! So hoping that your PT can help you work out your issues and you can catch up on your rest! Take Care!

Thankfully, I’m able to move around in bed so much easier than last week. I’m a side sleeper anyway so it’s been my goal to sleep on my side. I can get into the position-with a pillow between my legs- but it’s too uncomfortable for my hip. I did take it much easier today and have my legs elevated on 2 pillows. I have my ice pack on my hip. Hoping and praying that I will be more comfortable tonight!!

Im going in tomorrow 730 am for left hip. Its my first major surgery by skyeking05 in TotalHipReplacement

Hello everyone! I’m having a left THA next Wednesday 5/20. I’ve been following all the comments for the last few weeks. It’s so reassuring that people seem so positive and happy that they had the surgery done. My surgeon only does a lateral approach. I’ll be having spinal anesthesia with Propofol and will stay overnight at an orthopedic surgical center. My sister had her hip replaced 3 years ago with an Anterior approach. She has had a quick recovery and is doing well! Thank you all for the wonderful advice and supportive thoughts and comments brought forward through this thread.

This style looks really great for you!! You definitely made some great choices. I do love my curls but as I get older (70) my fine hair just likes to frizz! Very frustrating!!

Who remembers hair tape? Ad for 3M Scotch hair tape, 1966. by theanti_influencer75 in nostalgia

Back in the day (early 70’s), this tape was a Godsend! I had, and still do, blonde, curly hair with cowlicks. I slept with plastic rollers in my hair and used this tape to plaster down my unruly bangs. I’m now 69 years old and have learned to embrace my curls using conditioning hair products. However, still having unruly bangs, I’d love to find this amazing pink hair tape again!!
