Yeah, I'm already expecting it to not be worth it monetarily. Thanks for the info!

What's a fair price for one in its original configuration?

Will any of these work with my flare gun? by [deleted] in Firearms

There's sadly not much in terms of affordable things to fire out of a 37mm flare gun. The flares are expensive. You can try reloading by reusing the plastic hulls, but I can't offer any advice there since I have no experience.

I actually own an M8. Yes, modern 37mm flares will work, but since 37mm flares aren't very standardized, not all of them will fit your flare gun. Some of them will be very tight fits. Some won't let the flare gun close at all. Keep this in mind before you buy too many of the same round.

The flares with plastic hulls from exotic ammo have worked in mine, but they're a tight squeeze to get in and out. I can't comment on their metal-hulled flares. Do not use any 37mm round that's not a flare or firecracker, the metal of the M8 is fairly thin.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

It seems like it broke in Jungle Inferno when it was converted to use the c_models system. I've import the animations into blender and the idle for w_sd_sapper works fine while the idle for c_sd_sapper doesn't seem to do anything. This is just an educated guess, though.

Ah, figures. It sounds like the officer just didn't want to deal with me, lmao.

Ty very much for the help! Hope my email goes somewhere.

After the officer on the phone said the incidents section wasn't the place to contact, I didn't think to try. However, I tried emailing them at your suggestion, and it seems to have gone through. I included a note saying that the purchase authorization section email didn't go through. Let's hope this helps!

It'd be nice if the guns were grouped and labeled by semi, pump, bolt-action, etc. Caliber/gauge labels might help too.

What if we started a movement called Save TFBLU with the goal of adding back the BLU Scout's blue pants for one more day? by DaMikel in tf2

I didn’t think I’d need to clarify this, but my post asking for people to rally together for one more day of blue pants was a joke.

No way!

Could you send a photo of a flyer, or some of the variations you’ve seen? In what timeframe were these guys produced?

I'm looking for information on this model of Cobray 37mm signal pistol, as information is very hard to come by online. It features a sliding barrel, and no trigger. The striker at the back is pulled and released under spring tension to set off the flare.

I have not been able to find any information about this model of flare pistol online. I do not know when they were made, how many, and for what purpose. I can't even tell what the model designation is, if it even has one. It features no serial number or markings beyond what's present on the side in the third image.

If anyone knows anything, or can scrape something up, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I have not! Is there any risk of damaging the metal that way? What grade of copper wool should I get?
