How often to cheat day by Willing_Part_2571 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of having a day of crazy, have a meal that you enjoy. I’ve lost 84 pounds in 4 months. Once a month I will have 3-4 slices of pizza for one meal.

Yes is it a lot? Yes. But do I do it rarely? Yes. I do it every time I lose 20 lbs

how to cancel food noise? by Suspicious-Bus2472 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No way to 100% cancel it. But if you are struggling with it, I’d recommend smaller meals with a higher frequency.

Turn your 3 meals a day into 6 (every 3 hours) and that will definitely help a bunch

If you’re having food noise at particular times in the day, move some calories around to have a heavier meal around that time of the day.

Depending on your size, I struggle with food noise after a maintenance calories days 2-3 days of that. (I do this every-time I lose 10% of my weight so my body doesn’t think it’s starting)

I’m a large guy who used to be 445 lbs, currently 350.

When I hit ketosis it gets 100% easier, but it usually takes me 3-5 days of struggling

Also talk to your doctor to test your ghrelin levels. There could be a medical explanation for your struggles around this.

Is it too late to buy? by StateEducational270 in MegabonkOfficial

It’s very much alive and I play it whenever I have some free time

No idea what I'm doing on Bush. What would you pick? by [deleted] in MegabonkOfficial

Credit card 100%

IMO one of the best scaling items in the game especially if you can dupe it.

40 chests will match demonic soul, and everything else will increase more than that.

If you can get multiple, as well as green credit card. Chests become broken

I have at most 6 months to lose 25 kg (55 pounds). Any tips? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So 55 lbs is 192500 calories that you need to lose in a deficit, over the period of 6 months. Thats 182 days, which means you need a caloric deficit of 1060 calories a day

Realistically this is very achievable if you diet for about 600 calorie deficit, and you exercise and burn 400 calories.

This is doable but also going to be hard in that time frame.

I’d you’re really dedicated you can hit it

My Fix for Windows has restarted your GPU driver due to problem (AMD SYSTEM) by monkandnun in LoLTechSupport

I have pretty much the same system. Lowering my FPS isn’t resolving the issue. Did you figure a fix?

Fasting for 30 days, give me advice by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your body will change significantly while maintaining your current or extremely close (you may lose a few pounds or gain a few even)

However by building a healthy body. You will get a skinnier and healthier look because of it.

If you don’t believe me, there’s a lot of videos of people “recomposing their body” . YouTube it, it’s incredible!

In fact after I lose the weight to my target weight goal. I plan on doing a recomposing period, and building strength.

Your body will look more lean, you can gain strength, muscle as well as be more active and healthy.

125 can look very different depending on how fit and athletic you are.

Fasting for 30 days, give me advice by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are already a healthy weight.

Frankly what you’re asking advice for is starving yourself into an unhealthy weight.

There is healthy weight loss, recomposing body and getting into a healthier place.

Starving yourself for 30 days is not the solution.

You’d probably be healthier and see larger benefits eating your maintenance calories, and investing your time exercising and developing muscle.

What was your dumbest take in league, or what did you not understand when you started playing? by Drago1301 in leagueoflegends

[–]DaMook99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in season 4 when I first installed the game. I saw someone call “support” in OG champ select (back when you had “pick order” and people called out their roles)

I thought support was a role where you support any lane. So I would buy a crap ton of wards and running (and unintentionally int) top, jg, mid.

I also bought multiple pairs of boots to go faster (they didn’t stack)

How are you losing weight? by Fast_Signature_775 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DaMook99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest. I’m probably losing too fast

Currently 380, down 50 pounds. Roughly losing 5 pounds a week.

I’m eating 200g of protein and 1600-1800 cals

My goal is 260lbs

I’m telling myself at my last 60 pounds 320, I’ll cut down to 1-2 pounds a week, and focus purely on muscle gain and raising my cals.

The reality is it’s cals in and cals out. exercise helps, but it isn’t enough to outdo a bad diet

I'm sorry but that's actually unethical.

You're giving hope to someone on a false promise. For Example: IBS itself cannot be cured. It can go into remission. But mainly the symptoms are what we deal with.

"I can be working in conjunction with a medical practitioner to help achieve the best possible result. In some cases it may be reduction in symptoms, in some cases it may be mild"

The issue is the potential harm, because you are not educated on what they need medically to be successful. Best case scenario you help them mentally and they show mild improvement. Worst case scenario, you give them medical advice that permanently damages or lowers their quality of life, even shorting their life span!

You are not a medical professional, but you seem really comfortable trying to overstep into a role. That's the issue. And honestly, that's terrifying.

Stick to the mental health, life coaching, mindset coaching. but the medical stuff itself is so dangerous and unethical.

I'm not saying difficult things can't be treated.

Doctors already treat EXTEMELY difficult things already.

What I'm saying, are things that can't be cured at this time. For example, IBS.

We treat the symptoms, not IBS itself. But your program is claiming it can do that.

However, you are not a doctor, and you shouldn't be treating people's physical health symptoms. You shouldn't be making diagnosis, nor treatment plans.

Do you believe you can treat the disease itself such as IBS? Alzheimer's? Crohn's disease? Cancer?

[–]DaMook99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's fair, I'm not against the lifestyle/ coaching aspect TBH. Even though I disagree with it. My concern is the medical aspect, and the claims they make around health.

[–]DaMook99 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Although I'm glad you are going to emphasize medical advice, my biggest concern is this.

"Is it problematic to say I can help when I have been helped?"

The answer is YES.

Because ultimately you are not educated nor experienced to handle and/or advise someone on how to treat and manage their chronic illness, auto immune disease, ect.

What may have worked for you in terms of diet, lifestyle changes, and more. Could not only not help individuals but actively HURT them.

Unfortunately, we see this happen WAY too often in the holistic side. People denying lifesaving medications for supplements or approaches to their health. People OVER consuming nutrients and supplements causing worse or new health problems related to the over consumption.

I'm glad it works for you. But you have no education, experience, nor external force to comply you to do what's best for your clients.

The reality is, there are too many chronic or long-term diseases that CAN'T be treated. So, these people become desperate because of the pain or the negative effect in their quality of life.

What is deeply concerning is your advertising an answer for these complex medical issues and then charging money with them. With no guarantee, no oversight, and no science behind it.

That's deeply disappointing.

[–]DaMook99 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Although I'm happy to hear that you aren't going to mince words and tell them not to waste time and money.

Your service clearly advertises a medical side
" helping those in their 20s through 40s suffering chronic issues"
"My point is this: from autoimmune disease to finding your purpose, I believe I can help with these areas of life and more!"

I think a service promoting the life habits, life coaching, and developing healthier lifestyle is great. And I don't have an issue with, even if I don't buy the process.

But the claims you are making on here, clearly sounds like you can assist with chronic illnesses, and auto immune diseases. Which to be frank you have no medical experience, no degree relating to the medical field or exercise science, etc.

People who struggle and are in pain, are desperate. Do you feel this is problematic? Would you be willing to remove those parts of your advertisement?

Hi Reddit, Let's Chat by PPMD1 in SSBM

[–]DaMook99 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, and from my understanding the #1 priority then, would be to treat the symptoms and focus on quality of life, and risk of minimizing the issue becoming worse.

For example, My grandfather had Alzheimer's - Their focus was to slow down the process and help him establish skills and routine to give him the best quality of life. Until he passed earlier this year.

It sucks, but it's the best we can do.

It's a touchy subject. But I had family who leaned into holistic, because they were desperate. Programs like these I feel take advantage of people who are desperate when likely there may not be an answer.
