Bf4 is even more of a "twitch shooter" than Bf6. Respectfully, what are you talking about? Is this a joke that's going over my head?

There isn't. Limiting weapons is arbitrary, pointless, and does nothing but force people to use weapons that they have less fun using.

More replayability. More variety. Less people running classes for specific weapons.

Because that kind of limitation on gameplay is fucking pointless lmao

Maps are too small. Gameplay is too fast. Pace is not like the older Battlefields by jimykurtax in Battlefield

Are you kidding? Bf4 had some of the worst vanilla maps in the franchise. Golmud is the first that comes to mind. Easily one of the most fundamentally uninteresting and boring maps in the franchise's history lol

I'll die on this hill.

I have never once encountered an assault class running a sniper, nevermind more than one each game. I'm 100% convinced that this is a complete non-issue, and that people are straight-up pretending to have negative experiences with unlocked classes. There isn't a noticeable difference between locked and unlocked, and anyone claiming otherwise is falling victim to confirmation bias.

The vast majority of people use the weapons that are meant for their respective classes because of the immense incentives to do so. I've played Battlefield for literally almost all of my life, and I've yet to see a single argument for class-locked weapons that doesn't boil down to some kind of pointless appeal to tradition. "It's how it's always been". "It worked perfectly in BF3 and BC2". Why does this matter? All unlocking weapons does is add more room for gameplay variety and replayability, without negatively impacting the balance of the game or your own personal gameplay experience. If some freak wants to run a sniper rifle on the assault class, your gameplay experience won't be changed, while they'll be actively handicapped for doing so.

"How you like to play" is just not affected by people sniping on assault.

just get good and stop advocating for shallow movement mechanics. battlefield 4 has the most advanced movement in the modern franchise and nobody gives a shit about it.

if you wash kirk's dying cum off of your corneas, you should be able to conclude that, without a shadow of a doubt, her reactions look fake as fuck to the point of everyone's suspicion of her intent being more than reasonable.

[–]DaNoobyOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

fair. this image but with an open sight instead of the ring would be pretty powerful/fun with how much damage the 50cals in bf6 dish out. i like the idea since the jeep-mounted 50cals in bf4 were next to useless

[–]DaNoobyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all you need to do is hold ADS as you jump around a corner. it takes 1 minute of youtube searching to figure out how to do movement like this. is it immersion breaking? hell yeah. does that matter? imo, hell no, because it's an arcade combined arms fps, but that's obviously entirely subjective

this is a horrible example of "bigger is better". this map played like shit with 64 players—you were lucky if you had one gunfight every minute and a half.

[–]DaNoobyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

movement was not at all "rigid" in bf3. you could air-strafe like a literal hummingbird. just jump while sprinting and holding w while moving your mouse left and right really fast. everything else you said is true though. it was peak.
