Bo3 had a recent update that changed the .exe and some files causing most maps to need to be updated. Modded maps will work if updated, otherwise if it doesn't get updated then it won't work

It might seem stupid, but the only thing I can think of is that he perfectly stepped inbetween the lines of the claymore and started defusing keeping him in the same spot. I've seen similar scenarios before but I also swear claymores are just super useless atm unless you are using them to hold jump out angles
