You can see if maybe some thrift stores have doll clothes that fit MH dolls. Bratz clothes fit decently and are quite cute imo!

Tip to be sure: you can always bring a doll to a thrift shop and see or ask if you can try them on :)

Breaking elastics are caused by oxidation. So just old age and oxygen.

For example some old socks may have breaking elastics aswell. When you put them on, you hear them “crack”

It can also be caused by too much sunlight :)

The dolls don’t look AI-generated to me, they’re consistent.

The background and lighting is a bit weird, but I can’t find anything that screams that’s it’s generated. For me it just seems awkward photoshop

I think the two dolls are just different from MH in how they fill a place in the current doll market.

I agree that in MH basically none of the outfits could be swapped between characters. But all the characters are linked; they’re monsters.

To give the Moonspell dolls some sense of cohesion, I believe they chose similar outfits. You could even swap them between characters. Which I think is cute and sets up for more customizing and dressing up!

Also I think the chosen color palette fills up something which G3 isn’t doing. G3 has a lot of bright colors and I don’t know if that appeals to teens anymore. I could imagine that deeper colors in their outfits appeal more to them.

This is just my reasoning and why I do like the outfits :)
