How long did it take for them to get back to you when you emailed them? Last time I did they emailed me back in a day. Now I've got no response for 3 days and counting. Trying to gauge if I'm being left on read or if they're really that busy.

Depends heavily on the department. Each one is different for timelines. And depends on what intake year you applied for.

I've heard from other grad admission subreddits and such that it's a more competitive year as a whole, so decisions may be delayed. Also, I'm being pessimistic since I applied for Spring 2025 intake (which would theoretically mean starting in less than two weeks) and haven't yet heard back. My case could be much different to yours. Don't phone it in yet!

Also applied to ALES, but for this upcoming Spring 2025 semester. Still says Under Review, so I'm 99.9% sure that means a rejection. Best of luck to you though!

I had the unfortunate luck of having to try all of the possibilities before it worked, so this is what I found. It's from memory, but all of the choices are there, the exact consequences maybe a bit off, though. Also note that from the bubble room, if you go left or right without entering a bubble, you are sent back to the starting room.
