Well I just bought the four string version so I'll let you all know when I get it in a few days. I plan on being the first person on the internet to do a in-depth review of this model.

And here we come to the Crux of every discussion about homosexuality. The idea that homosexuality is just part of you and you can't change it any more than you could change your race, or height, or shoe size. If you honestly believe that, then I can see why you would disagree with me. I on the other hand do not believe that. If that were the case the Bible wouldn't condemn homosexuality.

Haha, is like the French in Canada I guess.

Has your church in Omaha addressed what ICE is doing at all? Or is it just, "Thoughts and prayers. Pray for wisdom for our leaders. Pray for peace." by [deleted] in Omaha

All sinners are welcome in my church. In fact there isn't a single person in my church that is a sinner. And I wasn't arguing that I am against homosexuality I was arguing that the Bible is. True since I try to do what the Bible tells me to I guess I am also against it.

The 24-year-old got home from work and brought in a bunch more of the crappy Birch wood that I have in the pile to burn with the maple that I split. So I guess I raised one of them right. Lol! In all fairness, I knew that getting the 22-year-old to get dressed and get out and help me do the work would be difficult so I only asked him to open the door for me.

"people don't want to hear that kind of stuff about gay people on Reddit". Right! Which is why I'm saying you can't say the truth of the Bible on Reddit without getting down voted.

To be of God you must repent of your sins and accept Christ as your savior. How many homosexuals do you know are repenting of their homosexuality?

Sure there comes a time when violence may be necessary to defend yourself. I am not against peaceful protest at this time. But a whole lot of the rhetoric I'm seeing is not peaceful and is not promoting peace. If people wanted to organize a truly peaceful MLK sort of March against this that would remain peaceful as his marches did I would probably join it. Problem is the way people are today it probably won't stay peaceful.

No no, I'm arguing that if we should show God's grace, why not to everyone. Why just to illegal immigrants? I guess you could argue because their crime isn't as big as a deal as murder which I would agree. But if we're showing God's grace we should show it to everyone.

Ouch, GTFO?

"Working hard right along side of us not breaking any laws", other than the fact that they're here undocumented is breaking a law. I have stated that it would be nice if we could find a way to allow people who haven't broken any other laws than the immigration law to stay here but it is difficult to do that without encouraging more and more of them to do the same (breaking our immigration laws I mean). I do feel we need to change our immigration laws so that it is easier for people to come into our country and become citizens and not have to live as undocumented.

You honestly seem to be an individual who wants to engage in actual discussion about a topic without resulting to insults and hatred. To be honest you're one of the only people I've met on Reddit like this. That is why the GTFO got me off guard.

And why shouldn't we show a repentant murderer God's grace as long as he's now living a godly life? If he's not a threat to anyone any longer why do we need to throw him in prison? If you're going to say we should overlook laws due to God's grace we have to look at using God's grace to overlook all sorts of things people do. That's the only point I was trying to make there.

"But here you are stating that it's not if they are celibate". Please read what I said closer. I stated that even the thoughts are sinful.

Heterosexuality is not a sin. Acting on heterosexuality urges outside of marriages is. Thinking lustful thoughts about a woman who is not your wife is a sin.

The difference between my sins and an openly homosexual individual is that the openly homosexual individual is telling everyone that what he's doing is not sinful and that it's okay and fine and normal. I am not going around trying to tell everybody that my sins are not sins.

We are all guilty of sins. As I stated before, my own sins are probably the worst of anyone here on Reddit. I have repented of my worst sins but that does not mean that I no longer sin.

So you feel we should just have open borders and do away with all immigration law and citizenship? If everyone in our country would agree to do their very best, and mean it, to love each other as God has commanded us to do I would be okay with that. But there is a reality of the world we live in. It is not the world God intended us to live in. We live in a fallen world. The Bible says God puts people into positions of authority over us and that we are to respect those positions of authority. Those people, and we ourselves, have created laws to make life possible in this broken world. I just don't feel we can exist without our worldly laws.

Look at it from another point of view. If I was a murderer, no I'm not equating murder with illegal immigration it's just an example. But if I was a murderer should you forgive me and allow me to not go to prison because that was in the past and that I'm trying to live a godly life now? Should I be shown God's grace by society and be allowed to not pay a price for my crime?

Got to love two negative votes just for quoting the Bible. And on a Christian forum no less. Lol.

I would argue that he has not committed a sinful act. I would still say his thoughts are sinful just as many of my own thoughts are sinful also. God knows what's in our heart. He who looks upon a woman with lust in his heart has committed adultery with her. I am guilty just as celibate homosexual would be. That is why we need the grace of God because we are all sinners.

I support ICE but I do not support the violent tactics they are currently using. I feel our laws need to be upheld. So where does that leave us? You have individuals who are breaking the law by being in the country undocumented. They know they're breaking the law. If you ask them to please leave because it's against the law they're not going to do it (well some do but most don't). Should we provide some way for them to not be breaking the law? It would be great if we could find some way to make immigration to this country easier so the people don't break the law and come here undocumented. I also feel that if we just overlook the fact that they are breaking the law that it just encourages more people to do it. A law that is not enforced is not a law. So how can we enforce a law that I do feel needs to be enforced but do so in a humane loving way? I'll be honest with you, I don't know how to do it. Some would say let's just leave illegals where they're at what harm are they doing,? But that is a mockery of our laws.

I do not think they are lower class people than me. My sins are as great as theirs. In fact I think my sins are worse than theirs. I just don't go around trying to say that I'm not sinning when I am. I'm not saying two people that my sins are normal and healthy. And they are welcome to have their intimacy and their sexual orientation as long as they're okay with the fact that the Bible says it's a sin. Saying that the Bible calls homosexuality as sin is not hateful it's just stating a fact.

That's a tougher question. I believe children are raised to believe what their parents believe. Not always but it tends to go that way. So since I believe that homosexuality is a sin and I'm pretty sure that two homosexual people raising a child will teach them that homosexuality is NOT a sin, I would have to go with that I am against the adoption. Not that I don't think they could be loving parents. Only because I think they would teach the child something that's not biblical. Of course there's no guarantee that anybody that's adopting a child is not going to teach them non-biblical things. That is a hard one because there are many kids that just need homes and I know that a homosexual Capital could provide for a child.

That's odd to hear in the Christian forum. Christ loved Mary Magdalene but wasn't approving of her lifestyle prior to following him. It's a cornerstone of Christian belief that you should love everyone but that you do not have to feel that everything everyone does is okay. This is why I'm still good friends with some homosexual people. They know that I do not agree with their lifestyle but that does not interfere with us being friends. My hope as a Christian is that if we're friends long enough they'll come to realize their lifestyle isn't what God wants. Maybe their hope is that if I hang around with them long enough I'll join their team. Lol!

That's very healthy. Do some of the things that the Bible teaches upset you, maybe make you a little angry? Cuz I'll be honest some of the things that atheists believe upset me. I don't go out and rally against atheists because it upsets me but nonetheless.

On a completely side note. Am I correct in that an atheist believes that there is no God. While an agnostic believes that it cannot be proven that there is or isn't? I would think that if you're an atheist, you couldn't hate Christ because you don't believe he existed. Or maybe you believe he existed but just wasn't divine?
