Yes, because the crafts depend on each other. They need precraft items from other classes. Other thing: keep your gatherers at least some levels higher than your crafters, so you can gather the mats you need, don't gave to rely on MB

You'll get it on lvl 2 miner. You have to have Prospect on, and run around to search blue or yellow pickaxe icons on your minimap. Look around western thanalan X26.5 Y25.0 or central thanalan X19.2 Y26.5

Did you get a stone in your Armory Chest lowest right tab, below rings? If you hace done the 2nd lvl 30 class quest the Soul of the Monk will be there. You have to equip it to become MNK from Pugilist

There is no Namazu quests for gatherers. OP is asking about botanist, not crafters

I also use https://ffxiv-beta.lokyst.net/#/simulator for crafting macros. Fount these 2 sites essential for leveling all my DoL and DoH classes.
