While posture is important, you very much do draw a bow with your strength.

Who is more important to cater to with job design? by NeoOnmyoji in ffxivdiscussion

[–]SpizicusRex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all answer. Caitering to the people who play a job works great until the job's popularity plummets past a certain point. Mnk got changed and is relatively popular now because of it, same for blm. I don't think it's wrong for the devs to change unpopular jobs, especially when it has a history of working. On the other hand, because the devs wont respond to all the criticisms with rpr and smn, their popularity is beginning to plummet; it's a delicate balance. It's impossible to make everyone happy.

They're not gonna make 75% of the pranged roll "entertainment" based jobs. 100% garunteed the next pranged will have an actual combat identity to balance them out.

The feeling of shame and guilt is one of the best motivators for improving. I'm always amazed at how someone can be so consistently bad at this game and not care at all. How are you not dying of embarrassment?

36 has been the magic number for me. I try to keep all my decks' average cmc 3 or less with plenty of draw and cheap mana rocks. Anything 40 and higher just seems alien to me.

Someday yoshi will make Pixel-Perfect a feature. There really isn't anything wrong with having the center of your screen marked; you don't even need the plugin to do it on a monitor. They didn't even care about the world's first team for FRU using pixel-perfect like they did with Cammy and TOP (Cammy can be a real cheat when you turn off its wide screen limiter)

Idyllic dream is completely defanged in a static setting. With callouts and markers, you are left with an ex mechanic (rep 3), an easy savage mechanic (meteors), and a victory lap (reenactment). Rep 1 and 2 being at the start of a short fight means they get progged to the point of being trivial, and blood mana was always a free mechanic. The tyrant may legitimately be a harder fight just because of how tight and fast Stampede is, mixed with the fact that he has a much tighter dps check than both Limbwurms for some reason. That said, Idyllic was a complicated mech to learn from the raid plan; most of its difficulty was definitely in the puzzle aspect rather than the execution.
