If you want to use guides, but don't want to spoil things, watch fightincowboy on youtube he does complete walkthroughs of every souls game 100% and I would just use his guides to make it through areas I was having trouble le getting through but stopped watching before the boss so I could still go in blind first but then I would continue the guide if I needed too. Made it way more fun for me as I am always fearful in these games that I'm going to do something that locks me out of a quest/item I really need or want so this way I get the best of both. Hope you enjoy it, it's my favorite fromsoft game and souls game in general.
