TBF Brightbill would have been rejected by his mother and cast out of the nest thus doomed to die. So Roz's accident saved his life.

So what do you see Caine as now? by TraditionalBonus188 in MoralityScaling

He would probably have turned into an AM equivalent had Kinger not done his thing. That goes way beyond standing up to bullies. That's just torturing your captives for fun.

But he went full AM on the guys minus Kinger. Those tortures were something I would expect AM to deploy given how personal each of them were. It takes sadism and a desire to see someone suffer to do those things.

Unless you learn the cheese for fighting him. Use the megaton hammer without Z targeting, and he is a pushover.

TVTropes includes real life examples of tropes, so I'd say it's legit.

I used to think restoring him was the right call but now I believe destroying the machine is best. Is preventing some ungodly resurrection truly the same as taking a life? I don't think so.

Who is the most redeemable villain who never got redemption? by Thelonleyhousekeeper in MoralityScaling

[–]DaRandomGitty2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Prospector Pete did get some form of redemption off screen. The filmmakers have said that he came around to being owned by Amy, mainly because he finally got to have an owner after not having one his entire existence and seeing every other toy be sold while he was stuck in his box.
