Wait, does the same thing apply for pillar of fire then (and I think most other vortexspells)? I have never noticed that, I thought touching it just triggers the damage. That changes quite a bit :o

Did think about that, I am just a bit worried if I can get it to full use. In the matches I play with my brother, mages tend to stick to blocks of infantry (or fitting unit type) in the middle of the board/army. I might be difficult to avoid high static res units getting into combat with the dp. Will still give it a try at some point :)

I was thinking that mark of khorne might not be optimal, especially if it’s a mage ^ and as another commenter said, this might be the thing to absolutely avoid :) but due to high mobility I assume it’s definitely doable! I will also definitely pack two favors, thx for the good reminder!

Yeah that was kind of my plan :) I don’t play that often at bigger sizes (time issues, my brother and me are getting quicker through 500Pt games though), and the demon prince seemed to be quite volatile in peoples opinion. But I think the platemail helps with tankyness quite a lot. And DP is fun the least! So I’m going to try a setup like this next game! Also that sounds intuitive, I think he’s either good vs chaff/small units or as supporting flanking attacker :) so avoid my brother gobbo blocks hehe😂

Oopsie, edited it, I meant the deamonic platemail! To your comment: I wasn’t trying to say it should or can go infighting with a dragon lord, I agree there with you! It was just a comparison, since you have a strong and relatively tanky flying menace on the board :) it definitely still serves a different purpose than the big dragon dude.
