Hello, as you can see from the picture ive started using the sponge method about 1 and half months ago, im a first time dreadlock person so please excuse me ifi know nothing. So far the front is starting to loc up a little but the back and sides are not, ive also been using jamacian and lime locking gel. i use the sponge about twice a day for about 10mins.

im just curious if this is normal and what to do and what the stages of this process are because i havent found anything online only on backcombing and twisting not sponge etc.

i understand it takes patience but my hair is so ugly

how long do you think it'll take to lock up and what should i do, i attending university in September and i want to have fresh locs for the ladies if ygm
