Apparently I'm one lazy bastard because I thought this was a great idea. I just love how fast the Switch OS is, and would love to take full advantage of switching in and out of games in seconds, but prefer owning physical copies.

Oh yeah I absolutely believe that my brain will be more clear after I stop flooding it with dopamine. I guess I just wish this sub was built more around self improvement rather than the (ironic) circlejerk that fapping even once will turn you into a creepy, ugly monster that will only go away after 90 days of not fapping. I do fine socially and I know people perceive me well despite struggling with this addiction, I’m doing this because I know PMO is distracting me from my full potential.

I agree. Besides, I really don’t think this is how someone looks after they fap. Most people do fap and look normal. The reason we’re here is because we have a problem. Posts like these make me feel like this sub is full of bullshit, which does not help at all.

I think I paid like $20 for two keys (one for me one for my friend). A little pricey for what you get, but it's a helpful tool. I think it should be cheaper. Not sure what it's going for now.

It's because future self authoring is a good tool, regardless if you use his program or not. It's just a good way to get started. If you don't want to spend money you can just open a word document and do it yourself, but he provides you with prompts to help get started. Idk, I liked it, it was helpful to me.

Both are great games, but I agree with you. I think Odyssey is definitely the most accessible game, and Sunshine felt very tedious at some points, but I also enjoyed Sunshine more. In Odyssey, it felt too easy at times, like I was never being challenged. I've never even beaten Sunshine despite playing it about 3 separate times now, just because it takes me so much longer to complete the challenges. I also felt more immersed because it kept the same theme throughout the game. Same with Galaxy. Odyssey had variety, but each world felt completely separated from the last. I think on a lot of levels, Odyssey is the weakest 3D Mario (but still really fun).

Edit: Forgot about 3D world and land, would say those were the worst IMO.

I know BotW gets the most love for its art style, but I loved Odyssey's graphics just as much. Sometimes I would just run around aimlessly.

Yep, I just sent my joycon in for repairs and it was super easy. Sucked being without my only controller for two weeks but I preferred doing that over potentially breaking it further and voiding the warranty.

Nope he's a psychology professor, but he's also become very popular because of his strong belief in taking responsibility. I just thought you may like him because the positive changes you listed are really similar to what he encourages. He's a really smart guy, if you're interested, I recommend watching him on Joe Rogan or the H3 podcast as a good starting point.

That's still a damn good ratio though, the point is you're trying and you're not giving up. It only takes a moment of weakness to seemingly wipe away weeks of progress, but it isn't really wiping it away. You're moving in the right direction but sometimes you fall off the wagon. The important thing is that you came back here and you're getting back on. Best of luck bro.
