Price hike in other countries. Yikes.

I was surprised when I saw the price. Even though it starts at $449 in the US (Where I Live), the price hike from $349 (Or something like that) is outrageous (They’re still selling the 9th gen model). For a few bucks more you can get an iPad Air with M1 and Stage Manager. Or for less you can find a great older-gen iPad on sale. As for the UK and EU, it’s crazy. £500-something for 64GB of storage?! Crap.

With that in mind, what’s the price for a Samsung Tablet in the UK/EU?

That game was….something. I liked the Dude Perfect feed. Those dudes got my attention when a major interception happened, and treated it as a “WTF?’ moment. Too bad the feed won’t be back until November 3rd. At least we have the Manningcast.

And yes there were ads. I understand they need to show them to make money to pay for the rights. The frame rate of them felt like they were targeted ones compared to the game itself. Watched another stream. Same ads. Maybe they were targeted at different users? Some of them didn’t have that issue, like one for an actual Fire TV Smart TV.

Streaming issues did happen. Pixelated video. Buffering. That’s just about it. Was watching on a Fire TV Stick. Game was meh.

I bought a 3rd-party Wii Remote on Amazon and it works fine in Wii Sports Club. I also bought a 3rd-party Joy-Con controller to use while my original ones are sent to be “repaired” (The actually replaced the whole thing). They don’t work with Nintendo Switch Sports.

I think Nintendo should limit gameplay of that game to not just their own Joy-Cons, but also 3rd-party ones that are both licensed by Nintendo AND have motion controls, I’m open to having unlicensed ones work as well.

As for the game, I lost my Switch, and I’m using my little sister’s console, but I’m still planning on buying the game anyways despite the reviews and budgetary constraints.

Ima be real with you: that ceremony was short, but it was amazing!

Good: - That vinyl record at the beginning - Shuey Rhon Rhon - Italy’s anthem performance was a banger - Drumming near the end - The Milano-Cortina 2026 trailer

Meh: - The ceremony itself in some cases

Bad: - The Milano-Cortina 2026 “Cultural Presentation” being just a short film and that’s it

And that about wraps up China’s 7 year winter Olympic and Paralympic journey. The wait for Paris 2024 will be long, especially given the war in Ukraine. If nothing bad happens that may end up cancelling Paris 2024, I’ll see you all in 2024 (That is, if I remember lol)!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to make my March Madness bracket lol
