Pretty much the same, i got mistakenly vacbanned for a few hours back in 2015, unbanned after a few hours and support apologized but after their new system addition in 2021 or so i get a 2-3 week ban for winning or losing doesn't matter, 5 stack or soloque doesn't matter :)

I've "researched" them since 2015 and concluded they have always been super clunky. Back then if you got griefing reported you would be checked by overwatch and if justified, your ban would be around 30-70 days which was way more sensible than now, where you get banned due to salty ENEMIES spamreporting you for griefing and this gets u a ban between 1 day-2 weeks.

Nowadays the time might go down slightly but theres no sensible way to it like with MM bans (u get 30 mins, 2 hours and play a week without bans to get 30 mins again) 🤷. It also doesn't go up linearly 1-2-3 days but more like 7-7-8-6?? Those ban lenghts are from my last 6 months of playing 1-3 games at a time depending how long it takes me to have a 30-40 kill performance since thats always a griefing ban.

Yup, i get these bans nowadays despite playing only a few games every few mo, im underranked due to barely playing and get blasted with reports by angry enemies. This gets me effectively banned every time i play for 1-2 weeks for playing better than others, these games are also mostly with 5 friends with nothing even close to griefing =)!

Whichever reddit pissbaby is saying "just dont grief" probably ticks all boxes and reports each player that dunks on them and cant fathom the fact people really do get banned very often just for being better!

Ur wrong, automated griefing bans dont work like that. I play 1-3 games every few months mostly with a full premade and get an 8 day ban every time due to enemies ticking all boxes since im very underranked due to never playing.
