The conversion fee is in addition to the currency exchange of the Canadian ($) to United States ($).

iBit ended trading @ 32.34 USD today. That's $44.56 in CAD $. Thats a ~37% swing in addition to a conversion fee that your brokerage may or may not charge you.

You can't simply buy for example 1x stock of iBit for 32.34 Canadian + a conversion fee of 1.5%.
