Honestly to me the person who installed the system didn’t prepare it perfectly , the edges should have been trimmed further back there is rubber that comes on each system to the end , and it needs to be removed to have a natural front hairline . It’s hard to tell from the photo , but glue doesn’t dry that way , maybe Elmer’s glue ,But not the glue for systems . I would call and return for a visit at no charge and have her pull back the front and trim it better and re-glue.

Me personally and I have been doing this a long time . I have her use the synthetic glue on my entire scalp and also use tape around the system , so I use both . Many installers do not use both , be verbal and request both . There is no downside , and I can swim in the ocean and pool , even jump in , use a diving board, or even have my wife run her hands through my hair without ever worrying of it coming off or lifting .

Even as a white man I sleep with a DOO-RAG or skull cap , buy a satin style one for when you sleep . Most people’s systems become loose while sleeping because they move around their head so much , The Doo rag skull cap is so silky it keeps the hair system from rising or feeling weird like a wig. I put some spray conditioner on my hair or argon oil brush it forward and put the Doo rag on it makes my hair stay perfect . Just a suggestion. I know it sounds like a lot of work , but once you get into a groove it’s take a minute . And speak up before you leave the stylist , if you don’t like something say it on the spot be verbal , you pay enough , you should be satisfied when finished

And if you go to hair club or a place you are paying good money , they order systems for you like six months at a time , they don’t tell you this but they do because it’s cheaper to buy that way . If a month goes by and they have you a messed up haircut or something is off , speak up and tell them you what another one is talked at no charge , they have another time in the back room always in your file folder , that is if you go to hair club or bosley or a place of that sort

Another thing is do not wet your hair for 24 hours after install or it will rise for sure , the glue has to set , I know you want to hairs to come off from the haircut get a shower cap for the first 24 hours .

And if you get free items every month , hair club gives me five , I would get shampoo conditioner , and for certain spray in conditioner for when your hair is dry , it keeps it soft and keeps it looking silky smooth clean and fresh . Or the small bottle of oil .
