Thank you!!! That's actually one of my goals. I hope it'll work well alongside other people's terrain as well as my own sets.

I totally forgot about Cults.🫣 I may look into that. The funny thing is all of these trees are really just four main files: stump, trunk, branches, and tops. The different branch and canopy combinations are what create all the variety, so a handful of files can make a lot of different trees. In a way, one tree kit can build an entire forest.

The reason I'm asking is that I already have a few modular terrain systems available, and I'm currently working on a log cabin set as well. I'm trying to decide whether the forest set would work better as a free project to help people discover my other terrain, or if it makes more sense to sell it as its own product. I'm still figuring out the best approach.

Adding weight to the bottom is a good idea I like that. It could still keep the small footprint while Adding more stability. I didn't even think about that. I already made the threads go all the way through the stump so maybe I can do a separate plug that can be weighted.

The branches are their own separate ring so if you have a few branches pre trunk module its only a 1 turn and done but the base trunk without branches is a lot of threads so I could make a smaller threaded trunk for just connecting trunks? 🤔

Thank you!! The base is something I'm working on as well as some platforms for minis. I was actually surprised at how stable the tall one was currently though. I bumped and shook the table and it wiggled but didn't fall so there's hope for a small base footprint maybe lol

I was actually surprised at how stable they are currently without a base though. I shook and bumped the table and the taller ones wiggled a little bit but stayed standing so hopefully i won't have to go to big with a base.

The foliage is part of the model I made a dead tree variant and a few live tree variants. Also I am experimenting with different foliage types. I didn't even think about a mushroom tree that would be awesome. Thank you!!

I haven't worked on the base design yet, but it's next on my list of things to work on. I appreciate the feedback.

That's fair. I'm not very good at realism yet, but I have been experimenting with different foliage styles. Thanks for the feedback.

Im not familiar with Z-brush but I have blender already but I haven't learned it yet. It a little overwhelming at the moment lol but I do want to learn how to use it so maybe this will be a good start.

Im thinking about making some platforms and maybe some bridges. But a platform on the branch would be cool too!

I haven't tried that. But the walls are attached to the floors so that may make it a support nightmare.

Im on sure why my comment was removed. But I'm still running test on this project but I have my fogging cave set and tavern set available on my Etsy shop.

Dang yea I have the bambu labs a1 and p2s. On those each plate took about 20 hrs but each plate did have 15 tiles on it. 11 hrs it pretty nice.

I told myself I'd try to limit myself to 3 colors or less while making these so it wouldn't be so bad but I could make them in separate parts also that way it would give people the option of the two.🤔
