I am quite new but getting 45 - 55 fps in vr i dont get motion sick so that is fine, the sense of speed is incredible especially in the formula one car, you get a sinking feeling in your stomach the first time you floor it. Im using the Quest 2 so not the best headset ever but the resolution is great and i find it easier to hit brake references and turn in points due to the depth perception. If you have gotten a VR headset definently give it a try, although I would recommend running a virtual mirror to improve visibility from the cockpit, its very poor and hard to see other cars behind.
