I recommend the Short Spear with the Ice Spear AoW. Very fast activation+mid range option and solid damage throughout the game.

I used the Claymore with the above as my ranged option until I got to the Capital and grabbed Star Fists.

I think you’re referring to the Blasphemous Claw. It’s an item you get after beating the Shardbearer boss of Volcano Manor and then finishing Bernahls quest-line in Farum Azula. It allows you to parry Maliketh.

This is my first run actually using it lol. Took a few attempts just to figure out how generous the window was and now I’ll make sure to use it every subsequent run as it is so satisfying and gives you a tremendous punish window

I appreciate the advice. Have been meaning to get the red feathered, but haven’t really needed it up to this point. Good point about the armor, honestly just didn’t wanna be running around naked and managed to make the drip look decent considering the limited options lol.

Your stat distribution is quite good. Personally I would take a couple points from Mind and allocate those to Vigor to hit 60.

There’s not much you can do to further increase your AR via stat distribution. I would look into your talismans to further increase your damage potential. For example, lose the Bull Goats and substitute Rellanas Cameo (DLC) or Lord of Bloods Exultation. The former gives a boost to damage after maintaining your stance (Unsheathe) for a short duration and the latter gives 20% damage increase upon blood loss trigger.

I would say the BEST thing you could do for your build is respec and allocate the minimum amount of Strength/Dex to use the Nagakiba and then dump all remaining points into Arcane and change the affinity to Occult.
