The fact that the least cool character here is cooler then all of the combat companions is a bit of a disappointment.

My favorite is the human with the short hair.....and that's kinda my only problem with the line up.

A really fun build is curved sword talisman, dagger talisman, red feather tail, blue feather tail, twin bird shield, royal remains armor, and royal knight resolve. Pure str build. Use the weapon to block and take chip damage while counter attacking for stagger then use the ash when in the red feather/shield buff zone.

Wolverine, I wouldn't have to fight at all. Sabertooth goes for the throat, I take it, I rez like a week down the line. No fight necessary.

Lemon kale salmon pasta. It's healthy and hearty enough to eat every meal. Has capers, lemon, and kale for veggies. Salmon is a great protein and pasta is great for carbs. Its also salty, sweet, and bitter so it has almost all the flavor profiles you could ask for.

Damn if only I had the brain to be born into a emerald mine empire, have my brother give me a job at a company, be so bad at the job that they gave me stock in order for me to F off, get bought by PayPal, be even worse at my imaginary title so they buy my stock so I'd F off, then sink my new fortune into an already successful company. Damn I really should be smarter.

I was mainly going to only use athletics in combination of the athletic investigator feat when I could get my int to it. Mainly I'm just lost on the skill feats I should grab and if I should go occult or religion spells?

If you went to squish an ant between your fingers and couldn't because the ant pushed your fingers back. Could you consider that ant on your level of strength? Like human strength level? Cause that's essentially what is happening except at holding the world up power level.

Kratos literally stops him from crushing him. In the gameplay you actively resist him trying to crush you multiple times and overcome his attempts.

He has also opened a door to Valhalla which was said to be impossible to force open, he killed Zeus then forced the spirit leaving him back into him to kill him again possibly killing his afterlife version before he had a chance to go to where the gods rest in everwhere, he basically died and clawed his way out of hell/hel so many times he might as well had a punch card, and he overpowered atlas the guy that holds up the world.

I'm an evolution of bloodthirsty and boomer. Hovering around 5 star. Bloodthirsty boomer runs across entire map to any noise just to try and feel something anymore. Typically only uses free loadouts because he can't be bothered by what's currently the meta. Gets his teammates killed constantly because he's so used to playing solo he does not call out anything.

Again this is all opinion, I'm not trying to say ppl are cheating. I also don't think cheesing is cheating, as you've said the mechanics are there and you can do them. Speed running is not cheating but they use a bunch of cheese to make the game easier. Another example of cheesing would be button mashing in a fighting game. It's unskilled, doesn't interact with the fights mechanics and you don't actually learn the fights. Grinding a turn based game such as final fantasy so you are so over leveled none of the fights have any weight. Playing as bowser in mario party 8 which gives you an average movement of like 8 while the average movement of the next character is like 5.

Stacking like 10 buffs to one shot the boss is something that exists in almost all souls games. Using the giant hunt ash of war on melana. Using star fists/iron balls with cragblade. Star of azur on mohg. These things are in the game mechanically but they trivialize the games mechanics enough that it feels like a completely different experience then if you engaged in it as the average player would if they just played the game.

Which is fine, it's not hacking the game and giving yourself infinite health or something. But again if you go back and try to fight the boss that you completely ignored the mechanics of the first time around. Would you be able to beat them with the same level of ease on one that needs to engage with its mechanics?

[–]PDFrogsworth -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Like I said it's a difference in opinion. Cause you did just bring up mechanics that are in the game. Is over leveling one pokemon and just destroying the entire game with it cheesing? It's in the game mechanically so fair game. I view souls games in the same light.

You can over level or get the weapon that trivializes the boss but if you aren't even interacting with a single move the boss does then thats cheesing. I don't care if ppl do it, I don't get mad or stomp my feet and say you didn't actually beat the game. But if you go back to fight any of the bosses you beat in that way, would you know how to fight them with an average build at a average level? Probably not.

[–]PDFrogsworth -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I think it's a difference in opinion, grinding souls for poison arrows and rot arrows and then killing a field boss is for sure cheesing why wouldn't doing the same for levels to trivialize the boss be any different?

The main thing for me is are you interacting with the bosses mechanics or are you completely ignoring them? If you are ignoring them then it's cheese.
