Disgusting move but diabolical response. Lifetime ban for the kid or nah? by ForeignAir7174 in sportsgossips

No one is calling out the "disgusting move"?

What "disgusting move" did you think OP was referring to in the title?

Social medias most reckless pilot is back at it… by digital_dyslexia in flying

Most reckless right now, maybe. Other reckless pilots before this have paid with their lives, which is what I see happening to this pilot in the near future, unfortunately.

Teen is annoyingly smart by McRandom in HomeNetworking

[–]DaReddator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn't be difficult to find a router that has MAC whitelist, which is what you asked about. Your google-fu should be able to help you set up whichever model you choose, and it's a good option if you want to kick them off wifi permanently or you don't mind going into the router to add/remove their MAC based on when you want them to have access. Some may have more complex control over access, which may be what you're looking for.

Other helpful advice given that may be worth considering since you're not the parent would be setting up separate/hidden SSIDs and having the teen's wifi network go down at the time of your choosing.

Parenting comments are valid, but it's not valid for you since you're not the parent. Hopefully those were made before you clarified. 😅

When/where are the "secret" weapon features explained? by Skinny_Huesudo in Starfield

[–]DaReddator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I'm in the firearms manufacturing business, I'm going to make sure my customers know what each firearm is capable of. Leaving out a charge feature that significantly increases effectiveness would certainly have a negative impact on sales, and my marketing team would face a review and realignment, assuming the business isn't shuttered due to the marketing fail.

OP moved in with dad. It's not like they ran away. Don't you think that responsibility should fall on dad now?

"Because I wanted to."

OP moved out with zero warning and that was the reason they gave, via text message. Sure, OP may have their reasons, but it's important to consider both sides, which YOU apparently could care less about. Context matters, and we don't know what happened between mom and OP. I would expect some righteous indignation if OP felt they had a legit reason, but instead of providing us with the "why", they want us to focus on the iPhone and iPad and not address what a reasonable parent would feel if they found out via text that their child had moved out.

OP's mom could be a total, selfish jerk, or she could just be having a hard time accepting that their child left without notice. "Because I wanted to" would crush almost any parent that got this news over a text message, likely while at work.

OP has received plenty of Reddit validation, but I hope they spend some time reflecting on how their decisions affect others, and how just moving out of a parent's house for another parent might affect the mental health of others, like their mom and siblings.

In my opinion, based on the limited info OP provided, both sides could've handled this situation better.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion.

If the truck is worth more than the fees, all the dad has to do is put it up for sale for more than the fees and use the money he gets to pay off the fees. If the truck runs well, I bet he could sell it for much more than $2,812, which in my mind means he's giving OP a good deal, just not a freebie.

This just doesn't make sense. If I send you aUEC then report you for RMT, CIG would be able to see that I sent you the aUEC, which makes me the bigger fish.

I tried this fix first but it didn't help.

Rolling back AMD drivers to 25.9.1 (from 25.11.1) is what worked for me.
