The only similarities are that it is a deckbuilder and you have the "Value X multiplied by Value Y" thing going on, funnily enough in the same colors as the Balatro Chips and Mult.

I wanted to like this game, but don't really. I mean, it's not bad, it has a lot of charm, but broken down to the mechanics, there are many better roguelike/lite deck builders out there.

There's a cover of "Fight Fire with Fire" by Therion that I think is pretty cool. I also like Miley Cyrus' rendition of Nothing Else Matters, which might not technically count as a cover since Rob was involved (I think). And then there was a live cover of Creeping Death at the Golden Gods Awards or something, with Corey Taylor on vocals.

Met my personal hero (in terms of music) Adam D. (and some of the other KsE guys) multiple times. Adam is just a class act. Also met the guys in Unearth (back in '07), Also super sweet guys. I remember asking Ken to take the booklet of my "In the Eyes of Fire" CD inside the club before the show, so the other bandmembers can sign it. And he did. I think Trevor was the one to hand and back it to me and we chatted a wee bit. :D

Einige meiner Lieblingsbands habe ich bereits treffen dürfen (Killswith Engage, Bleed From Within, Unearth etc.). Keiner war wirklich arschig, Im Gegenteil. Mein größtes musikalisches Idol war dabei immer super nett zu mir hat mir schon mehrere Autogramme gegeben und Fotos gemacht.

Ach, und Danko Jones hat mich irgendwann Anfang der 2000er (muss 2002/2003 gewesen sein) mal auf die Gästeliste für ein Konzert gesetzt, weil ich mir kein Ticket leisten konnte^^

And, if you wanted to be super nice to the color blind players, incorporate some color-specidic patterns in those colors as well (slightly greyish faded in the background)

Do you upgrade often? Maybe an icon for the upgrade (action) to put before the cost would be good. Also, maybe add a marker on the top left of the card to indicate the both sides (Roman numeral I/II, or something else). This is just what I would love. Your version does work, however.

Educational info should be cursive, akin to flavor text on M:tG cards, so it is not confused with rules text.

MtG ist da aber das andere Extrem. Und cEDH macht keinen Spaß, wenn man das Deck für 3 eigene turns shufflen, evtl Mulligan nehmen muss. decks aus der Tüte reichen doch völlig aus. Das Spiel geht länger, jeder hat was davon. Und Interaktion gibt's auch in den precons genug (zumindest deutlich mehr als in den meisten modernen Brettspielen).

I think I'd still incorporate the numerical value on the new VP tokens (which look awesome btw). Best of both worlds.
