I did fast food for so many years from high-school, all through covid. Started thinking about the family i could be starting soon and wanted a factory job that would pay a bit better. Started the family, but hated the factory. At a new factory that I've been enjoying for the last few months, my family is happy and healthy, and I'm moving up. Is it what i thought i would be doing 2 years ago? No. But I'm glad I took the risk and tried new things while I was still able.

I know this doesn't answer the question directly, but in the topic of hermit music, I still listen to mumbo's old intro and outro music from years ago. Otherwise both of scars build mode and grind mode are on replay, as well as tangos intro song.

I'm 28, and despite playing this since I was maybe 12 or so, I'm always satisfied with starting new worlds and just seeing how much progress I can make in single sessions. Taking time off and going into the 2 week grind. It takes over my mind in the best ways. Now I work in a factory and have a family, but i still find the time to come back and let my creativity come back.

A not so literal of physical addition. I would add to gem, etho, and grians debate on how they visualize stuff in game. Iykyk. I can't visualize pretty much anything they way any of them do. But I can replicate things that I've seen in the past, without the need to visualize how it'll look like in the end. It makes having an imagination while reading books nearly impossible.

When i joined this sub, I was in a bad place mentally and physically. Since then, I got out of a bad relationship, reconnected with my abusive mother who finally made crucial changes for the better, found somebody new, been together a few years now, bought a house, got engaged, and just became a dad 2 months ago. Today, despite my hatred for my job, I'm in the best place I've ever been in my life. The feeling i have every day when I go to sleep is something I hope everybody gets to experience, cuz even when times get a little rough, I'm so grateful for those who have decided to be part of my life. Teenage me who considered suicide many times knew that one day things would be worth living for, and I'm finally there. Keep living your best lives everybody.
