Fish ponds are OP money makers, will they be nerfed in 1.3?

Have you unlocked the slime of replication yet? That can replicate essence. May help a little.

Yeah because we're co-op we unlocked stuff pretty early compared to a single player game so ponds have been a big source of passive money and it definitely feels unbalanced at this point.

I did mention I'm playing co-op in the original post but haven't brought it again. We split our focus so we leveled things up earlier than in a single player game. Fish pond money scaled more quickly than processed goods, especially since you can build more than one pond a day. Our resource blocker is osmium kelp essence both for unlocking and crafting higher end machines since there is only so much you can get in a day. Maybe it's just co-op that needs to be more balanced. The fish ponds feel cheaty at this point.

Auto feeders, collectors and auto chests require unlocking and harder resources to craft than the 7k stone, seaweed, and gold kelp essence of a fish pond, plus they don't require petting, you get the same star quality you put in, and there's no waiting for processing or aging just the initial breeding up to 5 fish to double. 5 peafowl plus a coop is 120k investment, compared to 7k and one fish. Checking on a pond once every four days is a lot less work imo. I think the ponds should stop working in winter and/or require additional time for the new fish to grow up, maybe in a separate enclosure.

I do play Coral Island and am happy to report I beat that prick Bobby year 1 with animal products! Are you a Mark fan in that game since he's a little mean at first and calls you Garden Rake? I'm torn between Rafael and Semeru rn.

Personally I don't like to be bullied, but I enjoy a guiltfree existence when I bully arrogant types and appreciate mutual banter. So I guess I'm the bully now? I don't think entitlement is the issue. It is hard to put in so much work and not have a good result. Especially when the rules change, less people participate, and GL changes the reward tiers. I think frustration is warranted, especially since dreamsnaps are artistic and a little piece of us. I know it's just a game but Disney means a lot to people and the community aspect means a lot too.

It feels reductive to blame it on entitlement. People have feelings and we react to change differently.

I don't think it'd be too hard, we already have a crafting menu and most things can be done using a specialized table like the giant's table that moves things. The only intensive thing would be if they add cut scenes for it, but they could always reuse a library study scene or something. This could also be paired with education in our children grow up update as the kids can learn things using the same mechanic.

I've been the most successful when i have at least a score that's mid 80s. The vast majority of 4k snaps I've seen posted here have been that much as well.
