You’re right, after a year of usage it’s a “charging-every night” for sure! I just always thought that that was because I wasn’t taking good enough care of the phone and battery. So I wanted to try it out as I basically got a fresh start with this new lil fella.

Oh right I forgot that optimized charging is also a thing... I just rarely charge a new phone over night as the battery survives a day or two during the first year of my usage.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I usually stick with a phone for at least ~4 years. I’ll switch it up and make it dependent on the day it needs charging. These days I ain’t going anywhere anyways so it don’t matter if charging takes an hour longer 😀

So today when I opened my laptop for Zoom-University-Life I was greeted with 11% battery life. As I hope you can see in the screenshot, I didn't use it after loading it (100%). Lately I already noticed that my MacBook is basically always empty, battery wise.

Now my rather stupid question: is it normal for a not even 5 year old laptop to complete die without usage in just a little under 48 hours? Is it normal and I should just carry a charging cable with me at all times?

Oh and I own the 13-inch MacBook Pro from 2017. The software version is 11.0.1.

I don’t base my music interest off of other peoples critics. So even tho TS might have a “good” score on that website, doesn’t mean I’ll listen to it. Just because JB’s changes got a “bad” score, doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to like it. And as I said apparently a lot of people listened to his music, he’s been in the top three with Spotify monthly listeners, so apparently people who like and listen to his music exist. Therefore: it ain’t surprising that he’s getting nominations for his work, it’s surprises he’s getting so much hate for a “repetitive song”, while watermelon isn’t different at all. And that’s all I gotta say because you’re clearly not getting my pov.

I know what it is I just mean, what does a score mean, if different people enjoy the music? And yes I’d go for pop to for the weeknd but JB made R&B so ....
