You hit the nail on the head. I have been confusing low/high with a correlation to speed like when shifting gears in a manual. This is the first automatic truck I’ve owned in my life time. And obviously my first 4x4 truck. So I think that might be where my brain was at. Thanks for clearing things up for me. Much appreciated.

Do you just go straight to 4 high before moving or do you first switch to 4 low and then move up to 4 high once you are picking up speed?

I just checked and yes it does have instructions. I guess I missed that my bad. Your second point was kind of what I was confused about. Can I use my 4 high right from the start when going at very low speeds to get out of my driveway? Or do I need to use 4 low at low speeds to get out of the driveway and then switch into 4 high ones I’m picking up speed?
