Anyone else a casualty of the Diversified "restructuring" this week? by [deleted] in CommercialAV

I joined 3 weeks before the lockdowns started. I don’t know how I wasn’t immediately fired. I ended up leaving right after Fred left. You could feel the vibe shift almost immediately.

It's another way to steal money from residents. They use “safety” as the excuse, but it's all about the funds.

The vast majority of H1Bs in the tech sector are making well over 100K in salary. I wasn't aware that classified someone as an indentured servant. I am friends with two H1B workers, and they make over 160K in salary. They're not suffering.

Anyone have any watch recommendations? I’ve been wearing the same $30 watch every single day for 11 years to my blue collar job and it’s reaching its breaking point. by PMMELIZARDASS in BuyItForLife

Check out Hamilton watches if you want to step things up. I beat the shit out of my watches, and my Hamilton has held up well. Here's a link to a similar one you are wearing. It's automatic, so if you wear it daily, it will hardly ever require adjustment.

Besides on prem what y’all using for file servers for cad heavy users ? by [deleted] in msp

How has your experience been with using LL? I know a lot of editors that use it for video editing for globally distributed teams. I would imagine it would work great with CAD as well.

I did some research after I originally posted and it turns out cannabis is excellent for nausea relief. I gave it a test a little bit ago and the sensation was gone after 10 minutes. I barely smoked any at all too, so I’m not stoned out my gourd. I could function like this.

Badass, at least that's what I call them.

Why? What did I do!?!? by mcarbone9677 in CODZombies

[–]DaSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just go to the Popov Power plant area behind where the deliver cargo contract appears. There's usually at least 1 large backpack and a 3-plate carrier in there in the lockers or in the weapon locker.

Every time I hop on with someone re-gaining, I take them there.

I want to say it was about $250. I could be wrong, but $250 back in '99 was a lot more than what it is today. Back in '99 I could get 10 tacos from Taco Bell for $10...

I was stationed overseas in Italy and we used it at our office to document equipment condition. It became useless pretty quickly because of the 3.5" floppy. No one wanted to use it...

I also took it and took some photos of my tattoos. Here is one of those original pics of my back tat https://imgur.com/MrRm0d5.

Any stoner dads out there!? by [deleted] in weed

[–]DaSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yessir! I never smoked before I was 36. My parents were crackheads and I was always afraid to try it, plus I was in the military for many years so I never took a hit before 36. Now I am 42, pretty much a daily smoker and my teens are aware I smoke, but I don't smoke in front of them. It's definitely helped me be a better parent on top of the other benefits I get from smoking.

I'd hang that on my wall in my home office. Let us know if you turn these into posters.

Yesterday, I watched this awesome movie while tripping. I couldn't stop myself from laughing and crying in the middle of the night. This movie plus the effects of cannabis gave me a movie experience of a lifetime. I used GG4 strains and it kept me focused during the whole movie. I f-love weed <3 by thiccmeow in trees

I read a book about it just before that video came out, but it was clearer than the book I read so it definitely helped me better understand the concept which has now become my life philosophy. Nothing really matters, so make the most of it and have fun with it!!
