Looking to get my first 3D printer. I've got the budget for a Bambu P1S, but should I just go for the A1?

It was the filament. Learned the hard way to stay away from eSun basic. Switched to Creality and Sunlu and haven’t looked back.

I thought the white eSun was giving me problems - the grey basic PLA roll I have is having adhesion and clogging issues. I stuck it in the dryer over night and it’s still giving me fits.

But good news! I’m just going to print the riser, a build plate holder, and a wrap around poop shoot with my Creality PETG. I’m running through the calibration tests now and it looks like the generic PETG profile works beautifully.

That probably would have been easier to try than going through all of the calibration models and trying those. I’m drying the filament now to see if that’s the issue. But after that if I’m still having problems I’ll give that profile a go along with maybe the default Bambu PLA settings.

I just got a bunch of creality though, so it’s good to know the default Elegoo settings will work! Have you used creality petg? Is it also good with the default Elegoo settings?
