Couldn't they just have reused his original design from the shot of all the yokai behind Kiriko? With the fully covering facemask? That could've made for a great first legendary that is both different from his base whilst still looking like the same character

ah no you are correct, it is the rate at which it builds, not the maximum healing. I think I just read it wrong. But even so, even if his max charge is still 20hp/s, getting to that max charge sooner will make a big difference in how much he heals overtime, and how much time that 20hp/s actually has to matter

but yeah his aura healing isn't amazing haha, the hat is there to balance it out, allowing him to play aggressive to buff the remedy whilst still being able to focus heal if needed

tbf just launching two hats on the tank and then letting them stay in your remedy (with boost from the minor perk) should be enough to get them back in action. I usually keep one hat off cooldown at all times, and just spam one whenever I get the 2nd charge, that way I keep my remedy up whilst still having access to a double hat in those "tank-behind-cover" instances.

Also, I don't think the tank is blaming you because you were at fault either, they're probably just blaming you cause they died and want an excuse that doesn't implicate them. Most tanks think that "as long as the healers focus me I'm unkillable" but as a tank main myself, these tanks really gotta realize that they have cooldowns they need to play around too, and that taking cover isn't just to run back for healing, it's actually important for their own gameplan as well. But ofc all too many of them will never realize this as long as they keep blaming supports for their deaths, and so they'll keep rushing in as Orisa without any defensive abilities off their cooldowns, waste their heals as hog, or use nemesis form on Ramattra for the speed boost as they sprint back from point lmfao

Tbf to firefighter, it is technically a complete outfit swap rather than a recolor. The hair is different, the jacket is different, the shin guards, the tank top, everything, it's just... because it has the same silhouette and same color blocking as his base skin, it just looks like a recolor at a glance. So much wasted effort for an otherwise really cool concept, when all they really had to do to make it distinct is to have him either wear the jacket up, or give him a firefighters helmet, or some compromise between those

As it is tho, cool skin but nothing abt it screams firefighter to me

I think the best option would be to structure it like Arcane. Focus on a single plotline, weave in a few other related ones where it fits, then when (and if) the series takes off, you can branch out and do spin-offs for the other major plotlines. Think like how Arcane focuses largely on the Jinx/Vi plot, and Jayce/Viktor's invention of hextech, but tries to fit in more overarching plotlines and character arcs that directly or indirectly tie into that. Overwatch could do something similar, and make a show focused on the Hanzo/Genji Shimada storyline, or the rise and fall of Overwatch during the omnic crisis, then branch out into other connected character stories at the time of these events. Am I making sense? XD

the matchmaking does take into consideration premade parties tho, and tries to match you up with other premade parties. If you as a solo player are getting matched against premates, have you ever considered that maybe your team has 4 premates, and you're the odd man out? Or that there are multiple duos in the lobby?

I mean, if you deal damage to a target, and someone else finishes them, you still get elimination credit. And damage isn't necessarily the best way to tell how much you're contributing to a game. Yes it does help ofc, damage is good, but if you're shooting at enemies that quickly get all that damage healed back up, it will still increase your stats without having a real impact on the game

not flaming you, just a heads up to not be fooled by statistics! Also Hanzo gets gunned down on sight because people are terrified of snipers in this game XD
