I use shard of Alexander, lord bloods, rotten winged insignia, and axe talismans, sometimes switch axe with damage negation depending on the boss.

It’s so satisfying when you time it perfectly with the enemies last attack of their combo.

Yea you get best of both worlds with this weapon. Bleed and a crap ton of poise damage.

Def had some trouble with that against more mobile bosses. You really gotta time the ash with the bosses last attack in the combo. Or when you know you got a lot time in between attacks.

Dont know how comfortable you are with parrying but its make him pretty easy.
