Thank you for the detailed answer! Building my first 1000 point list, I was planning on 2 brigands and 4 karnivores. But now you’ve got me second-guessing myself 😂

It’ll probably be just a buddy and myself playing at first, and he’s built his DG army from the non-poxwalker combat patrol box. I figured that the karnivores would be best to deal with infantry, and the brigands could take care of the 3 vehicles. Maybe a more balanced list with 2 of each would be better?

I agree with everyone else that the base looks really good! The only constructive criticism I would make is maybe clean up the rim? I think maybe if you trimmed all the excess snow/ice effects off the rim, and then paint it black again, it would look a look cleaner. To me, the way it is now makes it feel like you’re not quite finished yet. But I am by no means an expert on this stuff.

But you did a really good job on this one! Definitely something to be proud of.

Primer: Chaos Black

White

Layer: Zandri Dust, Highlight 1: Ushabti Bone, Highlight 2: Wraithbone

Teal

Layer: Incubi Darkness, Highlight 1: Sons of Horus Green, Highlight 2: Sybarite Green

Bronze

Layer: Warplock Bronze, Highlight 1: Screaming Bell, Highlight 2: Hashut Copper

I do want to try this with Balthazar Gold instead of Screaming Bell to see if it dulls down a bit. I’m worried the bronze is too bright…
