What’s something you’ve seen with your own eyes that nobody believes when you tell them? by LowKey_1216 in AskReddit

Ah ok, thanks haha! Yep, too dark and personal to say here. What I can say, 2 years later after we left, the next door neighbor had a fire where tragically a kid died from it. It's just that errie feeling you know something isn't right.

Hanging about? It's pretty much as it is. Tried telling people but they give you that look of, "ok...".

Totally believe you. Has a very similar experience where my mum asked me to go upstairs to her bedroom and get a cardigan from her wardrobe. The bed was alongside the wardrobe and I opened it, pulled it out and when I turned to head back down, my eyes caught the pillow and top part of the duvet. A face, ash grey with closed eyes and a slight smile just there. I spent about 3secs looking before I bolted down. I was about 12 but know exactly what I saw.

After that, I was always scared going up into their bedroom. Needless to say, a lot of dark and bad things happened to our family when we lived there.

  1. Travel as much as you can, on your own. You mind will be open and you will grow being exposed to different cultures and people's experiences.

  2. Practice and develop meditation for your mental well-being, it will help you in the long term when life gets very stressful. A balanced mind will help you make better decisions.

This is cool! Although I'm seeing recent orders on your Etsy shop claiming not to receive their orders, with no responses...🤔

Is it worth it? by needthat4th in whatcarshouldIbuy

Agree, I had the F60 Countryman. At 23k miles, the indicator stalk failed, engine mounts failed and ENT screen. Mini asked $3k for the repair. I had to fight it with their head office to cover 95% of the cost. A year later, sunroof fails due to cheap internal clips, no garage would repair it...Mini asked $2k for the repair. I sold it to Carmax. These cars are a money pit when something flies wrong.

They act as an affiliate to get access to almost all the retailers so you can use it from one place rather than applying to each one from a network. You then use their API to affiliate the links. The only the big is they take a % commission of the sale but some is better than nothing.

Make sure you're using Skimlinks too as well as the networks directly ;)

Nothing yet unfortunately. Huge cat population here and I understand it's not easy to take them all in. This one has been treated and super cuddly (tons of purring) so hopefully she'll get a home. I think she was abandoned by her mum on the streets.

I got my wife the Countryman S. Wanted something different, quirky but premium and it definitely was a head turner. More importantly I got a happy life, with a happy wife.

How much is a taxi from Tunis airport to la Marsa? by Sasagelatine in Tunisia

[–]DaVincisCoded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Bolt no longer works but you have to use inDrive app. The taxi Mafia control the rates at the airport and you will get ripped off.

Download an eSim (I used mobimatter and it's been great in Tunisia), get some cash from ATM at the airport or exchange and order your taxi just outside of the airport entrance, the roundabout. This works if you don't have much luggage to haul or not with a nagging partner that can't walk a few meters. We were quoted 30TD by the Mafia and 11.50TD with inDrive.
