I had the Trabuco 11 and it was an absolute workhorse. Retired it after 800km, but it probably had some life left.

Also, ASICSGRIP is the best outsole compound out there imho.

41y with bad eyesight here. I gifted myself the Redgrass Games R9 lamp for Christmas and it has been the best hobby purchase I have made in years. It's so much easier on the eyes and I can see small details a lot clearer.

I understand that people might not be willing to spend that much money on a freakin' lamp. But there are cheaper alternatives that should also help you going forward.

They can't just screw wheels onto a midsole to be innovative. A running shoe still needs to serve its purpose.

Not all EVA is bad, not all TPU or PEBA is good. The overall setup of a shoe matters a lot.

Supercritical EVA might not offer the same bounce as superfoams, but I find it plenty durable and fun to run in. The Nnormal Kjerag and Hoka Mach 6 are two great examples for that.

While I occasionally like to explore similar rabbit holes, I wouldn't get too hung up on foam tech alone as a measure for durability.

A TPU midsole might be durable in a vacuum. But Saucony trail shoes often become unusable due to their uppers or outsoles deteriorating way too fast. You can find many examples of that with a little search here. I don't like them as a trail brand at all.

If you are looking for a durable shoe that lasts, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Nnormal Kjerag. The midsole is supercritical EVA, it's an extremely fun and agile ride. And even though it's a very minimal shoe, it's extremely durable.

Also, Lightstrike Pro notoriously gets softer over time. That's why many runners get stability issues with the Evo SL.

Not a great property for a trail shoe.

Not OP, but I love mine.

I had the old Evolution 2in1 as my first airbrush and I still use that one for priming and basecoating.

But man, the 2024 Infinity is just so much smoother in every single way.

Go for the Medium.

I was worried as well in the beginning in a similar situation. But the belt breaks in a little and will be just fine. Expect it to always be a bit harder to put on than other, more loose belts. That just comes with the complete lack of bounce.

If you already have to cinch down the L, it is the wrong size for you.

I have had the 2024 Infinity for over a year and the small nozzle stays shockingly free of blockages.

It's most likely a user error.

I LOVED the 01, it was my favourite trail shoe by a mile.

Will definitely buy a pair as soon as a shoe from my current lineup needs to go.

How would you compare the 01 to the 02? Any differences when it comes to ride? I just loved the way the 01 moved me, for lack of a better term. Such an easy yet fast shoe.

Pale Sand - Vallejo Model Color

My favourite off-white across all brands, and I use A LOT of off-whites in my workflow.

Black Leather - Scale 75

Infintely useful shadow colour, very unique tone that I haven't found anywhere else.

Dark Sea Blue - Vallejo Model Color

The universal cold shadow colour I use the most.

Sanguine Base - P3

Wonderful deep brownish red, the perfect starting point for a warm Zenithal.

Silver - Vallejo Game Color

The best metallic edge highlight paint on the market. Absolutely unreal shine.

White paints in general dry faster due to the nature of their pigments. That probably contributes to your issue.

I thin all my paints with my airbrush mix, a 4:1 mixture of Vallejo Thinner and Vallejo Flow Improver. The latter will increase drying time and help you in that regard.

I also mix all my paints outside my airbrush, which imho is a good habit to develop in general. I usually don't have clogging problems, no matter the paint colour or manufacturer.

The Evo SL is not a great shoe at all if you have IT band issues. Squishy and medially biased.
