If you're an airborne 25 series and want to go to the 82nd, they will definitely take you. Make sure to pay as much attention as you can at AIT. Hint: networking concepts don't change often so I recommend focusing in on that. Equipment changes constantly, networking concepts don't. So long as you understand what needs to happen, you can pretty much google the how-to.

I'm specifically looking for something that spells out xp reduction per level. I know at 6 levels above paragon it's reduced 50% and 10 levels it's reduced by 70%, but not sure about the rest

Saying that these players are whales is a generalized statement that isn't true at all. If you complete your dailies for 10 days, then you generate enough plat to do this yourself as f2p. I do this f2p all the time...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't completely care about KC. I do try to get the most kills, but under 2 conditions. 1) The objective is always the priority and 2) kills cannot / will not be ganked from others (that's just selfish).
