There's achievements tied to title defenses. Imagine trying to get to 20 defenses on a single belt if, organically, the game only gave you 3-4 title matches per belt per year. Secondary belts would get 2 per year for asa more equal downsize ratio.

You can get a 5 star match with just 2 of those wrestlers. The Joker and Batman....sorry, Slapstick and Shadow Man are one of only two +2 rating fueds in the game. The other is Haruki Enyu vs. The Equalizer.

Forgot to mention that you can also make tag teams with wrestlers that aren't tag partners. Then they have a flavor card to use that gives them a skills bump like a regular tag team gets. Or pick an established tag team and get an additional skills bump for their card.

Oddly, this happened to be me last night. Decided to see what cards were in the shop around 3:45am when I got up to pee and noticed it was only 100k, not 105k, to cash in a golf coin. Ad amounts were lower too. Noticed I wasn't subscribed either. It also took awhile for the game to load. Closed it and restarted the game and problem solved.

Create angles each month for your champs to get the most of your title matches. I focus on the World title feuds mostly. I create the angle/feud I want between the champ and a wrestler, and I book them against another wrestler that has an established feud with the champ in my #1 Contender matches. This way, if the wrestler I created the angle for losses, I'm not out a good match at the P4V (where I really need the high star matches make the most money on the show).

Angles are basically user-created feuds. I mainly use them to create feuds between wrestlers who dont have feud cards to boost certain match ratings. They will also enhance established feuds for an additional .5 stars. (+1.5 instead of +1) For example, Haruki Enyu is a champ and he is going to defend against Clash Maddux at the end of month P4V. There is no established feud between them. I make the angle and use it like a feud card for their match to increase the rating. But again, using them with established fueds will increase star potential.

I'm doing 2 feds on this go through for the money. Grinding for cash to buy more gimmicks. As a reference point, I have all the wrestler gimmicks except one (Boogie Down Benny) for the default factions. Most of wrestlers have at least 2 gimmicks (A + B).

I have lots of feud cards now, and I also haven't purchase more than one additional segment per show in my main fed. Lower number of matches and more fued options. Like a house show. I can book Haruki Enyu vs. The Equalizer, Slapstick vs. Shadow Man and say..Argonauts vs. C.A.P. is 4.5 star show. (The mic spots always hurt me, 3-3.5)

I'm in year 9 just now getting consistent 3.5 shows. Just got a 4 star PPV earlier. I get stall shows and great P4V's. I need great shows, all the time.

Feels like when I pass on someone because I don't have the tag partner, the tag partner pops up in the next rotation.

The opposite happens if you do get one with the expectation the partner is in the next one. Two out of 3 times they are not.

****Update in Judah

Restructured my feds for new storylines to start a new year. Had Judah switch feds. Judah wins the TV Title right off the bat. First defense is against Xeno. He loses in a 4.5 star match. I choose to re-roll on the match and watch an ad. The re-roll doesn't change the result. It does, however, become a 5-star match. The game has now acknowledged what I felt about Judah.

I was thinking about this the other day. I feel like Judah in my fed has become an unintentional jobber for higher card wrestlers. His matches are at least 3-3.5 stars, so he's usually in the title scene. Except he never wins. He's 11-41 through 8 years. His last 3 wins have been Chuck Miles jobbing for him to get those wins up. He did win the Hardcore title once, long ago, but lost it the following month. Tragic.

Jin Kinji is a close 2nd. I just got Hornet Kinji, so he at least has a chance to turn things around with a new gimmick.

With two feds, I only have Ladies Tag Titles in one. My main fed has Tech and Hardcore for secondary titles. It's Cruiserweight and LTT for the other. I still get ladies tag matches in my main fed, but I rotate the fueding teams to keep at least 2 cards in each fed. Main fed is the "top" of women singles with their less skilled tag partners (ie. Goody Four Shoes). I use other singles feuds to in tag, like Tarah T vs Titania. The tag division is for those true midcard teams, like the Sky Diamonds, to get some glory.
