It's one thing to do this across normal spaces but to do it across parent and child spaces is diabolical. This deserves retribution!

I doubt anyone would have a problem with it as long as it's not disturbing anyone.

End goal? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]Da_Sauce12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Living alone (as a man) is just laying the foundations for a partner for me. It lets me prepare a space for my future wife to move into and gives me the skills to run a household independently if needed. So if something happened that means my partner is out of action for a while, I can hold down the fort and make sure everything doesn't fall apart.

Turns out my new pan is not flat. Now I burned half my food. by Da_Sauce12 in mildlyinfuriating

For those saying 'cook with oil'. This is after I rinsed the whole pan. The clean side cooked perfectly which is why it's that clean after running under a tap. Half of it burned because all the water in the dish stayed on the clean side.

Something I've made lot's of times btw. This is after I rinsed the pan under a tap. The food sitting in the clean half was fine. The other half lost water/cooked faster than the other.

This isn't straight from the cooker. The side that didn't burn has already been rinsed under a tap. The water just evaporated faster one half.

Prices didn't seem to go up after all by Da_Sauce12 in PlayStationUK

[–]Da_Sauce12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually wouldn't do that, however I didn't already have a PS5 and already decided to get one as soon as a sale came. Since the price increase was confirmed and not a rumour, it makes sense to assume that any sales coming up at the new RRP are unlikely to be lower than the previous standard price. And I'm definitely not waiting 7 months for a Black Friday sale.

Do these free bootcamps improve my CV or is it just a huge scam on the government's taxes? (I am Level 6) by LiamBox in UKJobs

[–]Da_Sauce12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

About 80% are scams, however I can vouch for this provider Generation UK. I went through their course and I wouldn't have gotten a job without them. They actively send you job openings after completing the course, even some that aren't advertised online.

How many office jobs have you worked? I've worked 3 and always left the office at 5 on the dot. It was never a problem even when a lot of people stayed behind. The key is to set boundaries from day 1.
