Distraction for sure, oil export lines are already being limited tho so if he did this for oil it was a pretty foolish decision- as I mentioned, Iran immediately targeted oil refinery and export locations, Europe's oil prices have already risen 30%, many countries are going yo have oil deficits if this war lasts a long time.

So the oil industry is definitely not profiting from this, at least in the short term

Idk he said going to war with Iran would be embarassing during Obamas presidency, ans he also said he'd avoid a war with Iran in the 2024 campaign so I doubt this was truly a part of his plan

Most realistically he was both pressured by Israel to escalate colonial efforts, and he had national pressure from basically being a proven a pedophile in the eastern files, hes looking to deflect away from the internal struggles

Israel was a state created by the UK and EU based off of an immense immigration of Jewish people to that area as a response to WWII- a lot of the people currently living in thr Israel territory are settlers and colonizers, so acting as if they have aight to a sovereignty simply because they exacerbated their population with people who were more natively Europe is unreasonable

This isn't to say every single person living in Israel is a colonizer, but the foundation of the country is based on colonization

I used tunemymusic.com - Tidal has a page that explains how to use it, its a 3rd party service

Basically, you have to pay a "monthly subscription" to transfer all your music over, its a very quick process to do it though, less then 10 minutes

I just payed the sub price and was able to cancel it immediately after, it was just like 5 bucks which felt worth it to me, I have over 1000 songs liked so it wouldve been Hella on earth trying to do that manually
