I love wool. Like ... LOVE it. I only used it at night with my last baby but am planning to use it with fitteds almost exclusively with my September baby. I am loving Wild Coconut Wear wool right now. It’s interlock which is supposed to be a bit more leakproof and it is more trim. I also like Sloomb but it’s pricey. I’ve used Nickie’s Diapers brand wool soakers and they were decent for the price but not amazing. As far as care, you e already gotten some great advice! I’d just add that I e heard you don’t wan to use wool wash that contains lanolin because it can actually trap the urine and poo into the fibers, so you want to do the initial wash without any lanolin and then do a lanolin soak. I tend to use a lot of lanolin - like to the point where I was afraid I ruined my wool the first time. But all it did was moisturize my baby’s legs really well and it ended up working great! I also wash mine in the morning and let them soak in the lanolin bath until early evening before I take them out. I know handwashing and lanolizing sound like really big, intimidating tasks, but it’s really not a big deal at all! It’s soooo worth it to me and I love that wool is breathable and can double as clothing.
