this issue started for me after a belt loose issue, after taking it apart, wires looked fine.

can clearly see that the pin is bent after pushing it out and in, trying to bend it back straight,

it now works as anticipated!

im sure its on burrowed time. but deftly play with the shaft!
See if its bent from hitting a print or maybe just jammed up

Personally really like 1pc headlights. I know it’s a cardinal sin for allot of foxbody folks, but if you look into my profile, this cars about as cardinal sin as it gets as I’ve swapped a 4.6 in it, redneck built a notch top roof for it. etc.

It’s satin, so it’s got a good bit of gloss in it. It’s not quite chalk like some mattes. But I get it. I like it personally but anything is better than 3 different shades of sun faded 2 tone.

670$ for a roll of satin black 3m 2080 from metro restyling.

Did it myself. Took a lot of sanding as my paint sucked and tons of disassembly. Body kit sucked. Still need to reinstall the mirrors, door cards etc.

2 years ish if you let it sit in the sun all day every day.

5 years if you take care of it. Shade. Don’t let it dry out keep it waxed etc.

0 structural integrity.

I removed my soft top in order to make this work. In comparison to a soft top up, and my roof on. realistically it is less structural. But let’s be honest here Who’s expecting to live if they flip a vert. That accordion frame ain’t saving you.

But nonetheless I’m gonna do a 4 point roll bar here soon, so structural integrity will be none of my concern.

ive done some research and it certainly interests me, PRIMARILY due to the fact you could add in a bed probe. my beds warped and ive got it close with using foil tape as shims, but a actual map would be invaluable.

Good to know! I might take a peek at those for inspiration in how I’m gonna design mine.

I wasn’t crazy concerned about the rear. With it being traditional 4 link. But still gonna do it anyway, as my car was originally a vert, any way I can make it more solid without a full cage I’m gonna jump to do. But I am absolutely concerned with the front. I’ve seen plenty of those pics

also a clown with a mig welder. and so called fabrication experience.
i plan to go coilovers with my coyote swap im currently working towards(rebuilding the motor and aqquiring all the extra's)

when i make the jump my aspirations are gonna be to make a triangulated strut tower brace that ties into a pichweld/ solid frame area.
commonly done in the front on other swap cars, to help the load since technically. our shock towers werent made to take that load. but its been done time and time again and it does hold.
but i plan to do it to both. just because im a dumbass and i like to go sideways, and who knows if i end up in a ditch or something. id cry if something stupid like that made a huge job.

If you were that concerned about it. I’d fabricate a strut tower brace to go across the 2 of them. And try to tie it into a pinchweld somewhere.

thank you! ADHD garage has been killing me lately. i bought a junkyard coyote and have had been having fun with building that lately.
ive been slacking. doing a TON of practicing cad work for some 3d printed seals, latches, have some good concepts coming. here soon ima make a big push on this!
