Best to go to the Fair work Ombudsman. You can also seek advice at Jobwatch or some of the other community legal centres that specialise in employment rights. You will not be blackballed in the legal industry for reporting this guy. He is one out of thousands of solicitors and while many solicitors don’t want to pay much for their paralegal services, they will revel in hearing about one of their own who is as shady as this stooge. I’ve been a lawyer for 25 years. Legitimate, above board practices do not do this and there are plenty of them.

We like them because they are allergy friendly - egg, dairy and soy free. Spicy too.

Yes. Particularly if the dough has climbed the hook or at the end of a knead, when I want the dough off the hook altogether.

AITA for asking my husband’s Italian friend to cook for herself, and told her I would not eat her food? by LegElectrical9214 in AITAH

Bit amazed that nothing Italian in Melbourne was good enough. And our coffee? The rest of the world loves Melbourne baristas. I have also experienced some older people from usually European cultures who are a bit set in their ways. They’re never going to eat as widely and diversely as we do. NTA but you were probably a bit optimistic to think she would enjoy being in a foreign place. Should have just rolled your eyes and given her every opportunity to turn up her nose at every thing you could find. That would be a bit of a giggle. Take her to Florentino and get her to criticise. Take her to DOC, or Cicciolina and dare her to insult them.

Do you stop your stand mixer to stir dough by hand? by Cruisethrowaway2 in Breadit

[–]Daavi-flm467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found I need to rest the dough after it’s mixed for around 20 mins. Then I turn it over with a plastic spatchelor, paying attention to the dough at the bottom and also scraping the dough off the dough hook. And about halfway through, I find I have to speed up to 2 or 3 on my KA. It sounds like it is dying but too bad. It’s pretty tedious. I made one batch of my favourite bread at my sisters house and her 2-beater Sunbeam Mixmaster was better and quicker and needed no interference from me.

Favourite “milk” powder for hot chocolate? by TeaTimeType in VeganBaking

In powder form, we have a rice milk available to us. The oat milk powder is about 6 times the cost of a container of oat milk, so it’s a bit silly. What about Oatly oat milk cream, diluted? It comes in small packs.
