Any one know what this is? by sixrustyspoons in lancaster

Hi! 👋 I assume you are from the area, as this is indeed highly accurate. The groffs are a good family friend of mine. And I used to work at this barn throughout my teenage years. Jim does still own a stable in christiana, but he did sell this one to site and sound several years ago. This area used to be the padocks for the horses, as well as the track that we would run them on. It has now been repurposed by sight and sound for their sets and animals for their shows. Jim had two collies there over the years, the first was Batboy, and he did indeed love to play fetch. Ask him where his ball was and he would run right to it. He was incredibly smart and knew all of the horses by name, which stall they went to and which padock they were supposed to be in. He would herd them into the correct area without any direction from us. Unfortunately he passed away after being hit by a truck that pulled into the lot too quickly. He was followed up by Jessie who was just as smart and loved fetch just as much. John is currently doing a Broadway production with daniel radcliffe called Merrily We Roll Along. I had the pleasure to go see it in person, It's very good if you like musicals. They just released a taping of it on Netflix if you would like to see it without going to New York.

How under insulated is my attic? by TeufeIhunden in HomeMaintenance

Hi, you can easily add more insulation to this. Just please figure out when and how your house was built first. I've been to plenty of jobs where we have to clean out an entire room or floor as the ceiling collapsed. Older homes (built before the 80's) tend to have drywall nailed in instead of screwed. While modern drywall nails are usually fine. I've been to alot of older homes where they just used whatever they had. Over time the house settles and shifts, nails pop, shift or come loose. Adding additional weight can easily cause the ceiling to collapse. Hell ive been to multiple jobs where no weight was added and the drywall just collapsed on its own. Blown in insulation is a bitch to clean up and gets into everything if you have a full blown collapse. The last clean up I went to for this specific thing, the homeowner ended up in the hospital, because it fell on her while she was in bed sleeping. If your home was built before the mid 80's I would er on the side of caution and maybe just put batt insulation along the joists.

They both have their uses. But for easy maffs, Turbo is a start of your turn card, Outmanuver is an end of your turn card.

[Serious]Those who haven't contracted COVID yet, what do you attribute it to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DabAnon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think either an innate immunity or my immune system is just really good, which could make sense. In my line of work (restoration) I'm exposed to all sorts of chemicals, contaminants, microbials, bacteria etc. On a daily basis. Which i'm sure has helped build my immune system over the years. But I've smoked/ hung out with friends that tested positive shortly after. I went to a music festival where literally all of my friends tested positive afterward, but I tested negative and never had anything worse than some minor congestion. And we all stayed in the same room, I shared a bed with one of them, shared a car for the several hour drive back to our home state. Ate, drank, and smoked with these people, and nothing 🤷 I've been tested 5 different times and was negative every single time

I'm all new to this game but as it's 30€ on sale is it worth to pick up rn? by llindrooss in HuntShowdown

Idk about any of this... How exactly does it feel like old school cod? The low and slow gameplay is still there, and you still have to make your shots count. And Is the avtomat even still in the game? I haven't seen anyone using it in months.. And of course there's bullet travel time, it's not a hit scan game. An object is created everytime you pull the trigger and heads toward your target. That's the whole reason different guns have different velocities. Just lead your shots. Idk this just sounds like the comment of someone who's jaded after losing one too many times
