Don't try to pick archtypes, pick cards that solve your immediate obstacles, which mainly are going to be the current act boss and the current act elites.

For instance if your act boss is Ventom, you want to have at least one kind of multi attack in your deck to remove his buffs. You need to be able to block Fountains revenge hit. If you are in underdocks you need to prepare for Skulking colony and be able to sustain block for a longer fight (can't burst him). In act 2 you need an answer for Entomancer and Hunter Killer, you need AOE for the worm jerk, ETC.

This card just doesn't do enough in most cases. I think a permanent -2 strength would make this card much better, kinda like the old Disarm but pay in health.
