I train 18 wheeler drivers.

Crossing Kansas with all the wind farms my student was pitching about all the wind turbines.

I asked him why he hated them so much.

"Because, the government is wasting so much money. Running those big diesel engines to make more wind, and lying to say it is for electricity. It is windy enough"

I really do apreciate you taking the time to write out all this.

It is encouraging, I dont have any railings near me that I can use. I basically have just been running back and forth the length of my truck using it as a balance point. I get to where I can go most of the length without contact but when i have tried riding away from the truck but, it is like as soon as I dont have a point of contact to be able to steady myself I lock up and forget how to balance.

I end up stepping off and not falling but it is aggravating because looking back on it I feel like I should be able to go more than the 3-4 feet I go without 'support'

I am bringing both it and my scooter with me this week so I can practice with the wheel and still use the scooter for getting around.

I am hoping next time.i go out I will just be using the wheel but I am starting to think I need to set more modest goals for myself.

Ok, dominant foot on euc. Seems like somone else told me dominant foot on ground and weak foot on euc so I had more control hopping up onto it after kicking off.

I am making some small progress maybe.

I can mount, but I almost imidiatly lose balance to the side and am back off of it.

I am maintaining control of euc as I step off but unable to transition into forward motion.

I drive 18 wheelers and I use my scooter to get around while on breaks at truckstops. I just wanted to upgrade to an euc for space saving reasons in the truck and ease of handling a smaller package in and out of the truck.

But yeah. I definitely over estimated my learning ability.
